  • Patent number: 11753634
Abstract: A method of applying heat to living tissue mainly uses a device for performing heat treatment on at least a portion of the living tissue in high-low-high temperature steps. In high temperature step, the temperature of the at least a portion of the living tissue is heated and kept between 39-46° C., and the heating period is no longer than 30 minutes. In low temperature step, the at least a portion of the living tissue is cooled, and the low temperature period should not be greater than a natural cooling time interval. In addition, the low temperature period must also be shorter than the heating period. Thus, the present invention allows the abnormal cells to be selectively restored or apoptotic without damaging the normal cells.

  • Publication number: 20140361749
Abstract: A control system includes a background unit, a control module, a power supply module, and a battery. The background unit includes a procedure subunit, an operation subunit, and a transceiving subunit. The control module includes an information read-write unit and a processing unit. The processing unit includes a detecting subunit, a control subunit, and a switch subunit. The transceiving subunit sends an operating request to the detecting subunit. The detecting subunit detects a dump energy value of the battery and determines whether the dump energy value is less than a predetermined charge level value. When the dump energy value is greater than the predetermined charge level value, the switch subunit is switched on, and the information read-write unit sends powering information to the transceiving subunit, and the operating subunit operates the procedure subunit. The disclosure further offers a control method.

  • Publication number: 20130318394
Abstract: An embedded controller includes and a microprocessor coupled to the memory. The memory includes a working area for storing embedded controller firmware and a recovery area for storing a copy of the embedded controller firmware. When the embedded controller firmware stored in the working area is corrupt, the microprocessor retrieves the copy of the embedded controller firmware from the recovery area and restores the embedded controller firmware to the working area. The microprocessor can then read and execute the embedded controller firmware from the working area. An embedded controller firmware management method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20130318335
Abstract: A computing device includes an embedded controller. The embedded controller suspends a shutdown process in response to detection of a shutdown command, and obtains a shutdown cause according to the shutdown command. The embedded controller includes a memory. The embedded controller stores the shutdown cause in the memory, and resumes the shutdown process after the shutdown cause has been stored in the memory. A method of capturing shutdown cause in a computing device is also provided.
