Abstract: A water-saving valve assembly has a base, a control valve device and a buffer device. The control valve device is mounted in the base. The water-saving valve assembly is mounted on an exit of a water pipe. Users can control the flowing out or stopping of water in the water pipe via the control valve device. The buffer device provides a gradual effect of switching off and can effectively reduce positive and negative pressure waves generated in the water pipe. Noises and damage to the water pipe are also prevented.

Abstract: Disclosed is a surge protector which is provided before an electrical device to be protected for protecting the electrical device from harmful electrical disturbances, the surge protector comprises at least three terminals including a signal input terminal, a signal output terminal and grounding terminal; and the protector comprises; at least one circuit protecting module provided between the signal input terminal and the signal output terminal and electrically connected to the electrical device to be protected in series, thereby the circuit protecting module becomes an open circuit simultaneously when an applied voltage is greater than a safety threshold thereof in a normal mode to protect the electrical device; and at least one surge diverting module provided between an input of the circuit protecting module and the grounding terminal for directing energy of the surge to ground in a shunt mode.

When the water is stopped, the occurring positive or negative pressure wave is lowered, and then the vibration and the raspy noise will be avoided.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for inspecting radio frequency identification (RFID) tags which utilize a way of shielding for inspecting whether RFID tags function properly or not. The method of the present invention comprises steps of: reading a plurality of RFID tags in a readable zone; and determining whether there is any malfunctional RFID tag in the plurality of RFID tags. If all the plurality of RFID tags function properly, the method will check a next plurality of RFID tags. If there is at least one unreadable RFID tag, the at least one malfunctional RFID tag will be found by shielding one or the plurality of RFID tags. By means of the disclosure in the present invention, the present method and apparatus are capable of improving the efficiency during inspection and simplifying the design of a readable zone.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and a system for testing RFID tags, which utilizes a way of adjusting the distance between the RFID tags and interrogator or adjusting the power of the interrogator accompanied with a shielding procedure for testing and classifying the RFID tags. By means of the method and the system of the present invention, it is capable of judging the efficacy and good and bad of the RFID tags, while the interrogatable distance of the RFID tags is capable of being tested effectively.

Abstract: An image browsing method includes: detecting a movement corresponding to a user input to generate a detecting variation; checking if the detecting variation is greater than a predetermined threshold value; when the detecting variation is greater than the predetermined threshold value, displaying an animation indicative of completely turning a page for showing a target image instead of a current image in order to allow browsing of the target image; and when the detecting variation is not greater than the predetermined threshold value, displaying the current image for browsing of the current image.

Abstract: Multi-layer printing of a thermal printer allows editing of print objects in a plurality of editing pages, and creation of a relationship between the editing pages and a plurality of dye areas of a dye ribbon. The print objects in the editing pages are converted into a plurality of pages of printing data. A thermal printer drives the dye areas of the dye ribbon to sequentially transfer two pages of the printing data onto a first surface of a card. With visible editing windows, the operation of editing the print objects for a thermal printer can be simplified.

Each of the second lugs has a second bevel edge for abutting the ratchet and the first bevel edge. The spindle extends through an inlet of the barrel and has a head for blocking an inlet of the barrel.

The servicing method has the steps: (1) recording status of each driving unit; (2) determining a service job corresponding to each individual driving unit with a predetermined rule according to the corresponding status of each driving unit when the ink jet printing head needs to be serviced, and (3) driving each driving unit to perform the corresponding service job.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for use in inkjet printing. The apparatus includes a memory, a heat accumulation calculation device, and an image separating device. The memory is used to store a heat weighting look-up table. When data representative of the image is fed into the heat accumulation calculation device, a heat weighting for the image can be calculated according to the heat weighting look-up table, which can be used to determine the degree of heat accumulation during printing. The image separating device then outputs pieces of image data representing sub-images according to the heat weighting for the image. Finally, the image is formed by printing the sub-images successively according to the pieces of image data. In addition, for some regions where serious heat accumulation is predicted, the densities of the pixels to be printed within the regions can be adjusted to reduce the degrading effect on the printing quality due to the heat accumulation during printing.

The driving circuit has a driving signal generator that provides two different driving signals to heat the ink jet cells. The first driving signal heats cells intended for jetting ink with sufficient energy so that they do jet ink. The second driving signal heats cells not intended for jetting ink with insufficient energy so that they are heated without jetting ink.
