  • Publication number: 20140059844
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a gel lithium battery is provided. The method includes steps of: fabricating a core device; placing the core device in a bag and injecting a reactive electrolyte into the bag; pre-charging the core device and the reactive electrolyte to cause chemical reactions of the core device and the reactive electrolyte; performing a heating process on the bag to cause a gel formation and aging of the reactive electrolyte; and performing an activation procedure on the core device and the reactive electrolyte in the bag to complete manufacturing the gel lithium battery. By pre-charging the core device and the reactive electrolyte, a structure of the core device is prevented from damages caused by expansion due to the heating and gel formation. The gel lithium battery disclosed offers enhanced quality and life cycle as well as low costs and high stability.

  • Publication number: 20100327952
Abstract: An electronic system includes an integrated circuit, powered by a first voltage, with a first device provided therein; a detection device coupled to the first device to detect an output deviation of the first device attributed to process, voltage and temperature (PVT) effects; and a compensation device coupled to the detection device, adjusting the first voltage in response to the output deviation and outputting the first voltage to the integrated circuit to compensate for the PVT effects. The electronic system further comprises a conversion device, coupled between the detection device and the compensation device, to generate an indication signal corresponding to the output deviation for the compensation device to adjust the first voltage. In addition, the compensation device may compare and amplify a difference between a voltage level of the indication signal and a reference to linearly adjust the first voltage for compensating for the PVT effects.

  • Patent number: 7509660
Abstract: The disc retrieval and release apparatus and method has a retrieve and release member for retrieving and releasing a disc for processing. The retrieve and release member releases one of the discs into and retrieves it from a wait processing region where the upper side of the disc tray is. The retrieve and release member enters and exits the wait processing region slantwise when the moving arm moves thereto. Thus, the embodiment releases the unprocessed disc into the wait processing region, and then retrieves the processed disc from the wait processing region after the unprocessed disc is processed. Thus, the discs are retrieved from a disc tray of the optical drive that extends out completely or incompletely, and they are released into the disc tray easily.

  • Publication number: 20080162961
Abstract: A portable player, a power management apparatus, and a power management algorithm thereof are provided. The portable player comprises a plurality of functional blocks, a power management apparatus, and a display apparatus. The plurality of functional blocks are configured to complete a task. The power management apparatus comprises a sensor, a retrieval unit, and an adjuster. The sensor senses a power supplement status of the portable player. The retrieval unit retrieves a power consumption status of the task. The adjuster adjusts at least one of the plurality of functional blocks to complete the task according to the power supplement status and the power consumption status. The display apparatus displays the task.

  • Publication number: 20050064293
Abstract: A mixture of an electrolyte, a first oligomer and an initiating agent is emulsion polymerized to form a precursor solution with a micro void structure for the gel-type electrolyte. A current available jelly-roll is put into an aluminum foil packet, and the precursor solution is then injected into the packet, which is then sealed and baked so that a highly conductive gel-type electrolyte is disposed inside and outside the jelly-roll. The lithium battery with the gel-type electrolyte is very stiff, reliable, and free from expansion and electrolyte leakage.
