  • Publication number: 20110134309
Abstract: An image contrast evaluation method is disclosed. First, focusing is performed based on the contrast value of an image rendered by a lens on optical sensors, wherein the calculation of the contrast value comprises: selecting an area of the image, calculating the absolute value of brightness difference between each neighboring pixel, and selecting a specific value there from as the contrast value of the image based on a distribution of the calculated absolute values of the brightness differences.

  • Publication number: 20100277118
Abstract: An automated power supply is formed primarily by electrically connecting a power supply system and a chip management module. The chip management module includes a data storage module, a transmission module, a protocol circuit module and a power detecting module. The protocol circuit module includes at least one power output/input pin for transmitting an electric signal, and a grounding pin. Therefore, not only a requirement of an internal driving power can be reduced, but also a size of the chip and electric power consumption can be diminished significantly.

  • Patent number: 7800653
Abstract: Signal compensation systems and methods. The system comprises a sensor and a processing module. The sensor detects movements of a camera device to generate sensed signals. The processing module acquires a relative maximum value and a relative minimum value of the sensed signals, and calculates an absolute difference accordingly. The absolute difference is the absolute value of the relative maximum value added the relative minimum value. The processing module determines whether the absolute difference exceeds a predetermined value. If so, the sensed signals are identified with a drift, and compensated according to the absolute difference.

  • Publication number: 20040206404
Abstract: A ball valve assembly includes a housing with a ball valve rotatably received therein and an adjusting shaft extends through a wall of the housing and is connected to the ball valve. A passage is defined through the ball valve and a separation bar is connected to an inner periphery of the passage so as to define a first partition and a second partition in the passage. A seal member is located in the first partition of the passage and a control device is connected to the seal member which movably seals the passage. The ball valve is rotated an angle by rotating the adjusting shaft so that the direction of the flow of the liquid via the ball valve can be changed.
