  • Publication number: 20190069251
Abstract: A communications apparatus in a communications system includes a processor and a power scheme controller. The processor determines a predetermined adjustment offset for a zone according to a frame structure of the communications system. The power scheme controller is coupled to the processor, obtains information regarding the predetermined adjustment offset for the zone, determines a predetermined scaling factor for the zone, and determines a target frequency or a target voltage for the processor to operate in according to the predetermined adjustment offset and the predetermined scaling factor.

  • Patent number: 9645624
Abstract: An electronic apparatus comprises a switch, a processing unit, a functional unit and a power management unit. The function unit has a timer. The power management unit is coupled to the processing unit and the function unit. The processing unit and the function unit receive a switch signal generated by the switch. The processing unit generates a power-down signal after detecting a change in the logic level of the switch signal received for a first predetermined time. The timer starts counting upon detecting a change in the logic level of the switch signal, and executes a power-down procedure after the timer has counted to a second predetermined time. The second time is less than the first predetermined time. The function unit completes the power-down procedure before the power management unit receives the power-down signal and stops powering the processing unit and the function unit.

  • Patent number: 6686898
Abstract: Driving method and circuit of an organic light emitting diode, applied to an array of a plurality of organic light emitting diode. The array has several rows and columns of organic light emitting diodes. The row and column corresponding to the organic light emitting selected to illuminate are selected. A first voltage is applied to the selected column, and a second voltage is applied to the selected row. The difference between the first and second voltages is larger than the conducting voltage of the organic light emitting diode, so that the light emitting diode can illuminate. A third voltage and a fourth voltages are applied to other rows and columns which are not connected to the selected organic light emitting diode to provide a reverse bias to all the remaining light emitting diodes.

  • Patent number: 6534928
Abstract: A method for driving a cold cathode flat fluorescent lamp (CCFFL). The method comprises the steps of generating a pulse-combined signal, applying the pulse-combined signal to an inverter driver circuit which is electrically connected to the CCFFL and causes it to light up, and adjusting the pulse width and the pulse period so that the CCFFL is at a maximum luminance while a luminance uniformity thereof is maximum. Based on the pulse width and the pulse period, the luminance uniformity of the CCFFL is constant while the CCFFL is adjusted for a desired luminance.
