Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electronic device. The electronic device includes a flexible element, and a sensing element adjacent to the flexible element and configured to detect a biosignal. The electronic device also includes an active component in the flexible element and electrically connected with the sensing element. A method of manufacturing an electronic device is also disclosed.

Abstract: A security management system includes a controlled device to execute a security management method. The controlled device includes a wireless module and a processing module. The processing module communicates with a main controlling device through the wireless module for pairing. When the main controlling device is successfully paired to the controlled device, the processing module executes a security mode. In the security mode, a user directly operates the controlled device. When the controlled device is not successfully paired to the main controlling device, the controlled device cannot execute the security mode, and the controlled device cannot be operated. Therefore, the user only needs to ensure that the main controlling device is nearby; even if the user is at a position distanced from the controlled device, the controlled device may not be operated by others.

Abstract: A management method is performed by an electronic device of a management system. When the electronic device determines that a trigger condition is fulfilled, the electronic device loads a set of key commands and executes a predetermined event according to the key commands. The set of key commands is defined by a user to trigger the predetermined event, and provides protection to the electronic device. The management system includes the electronic device and a key device, which are wirelessly connected. If the key device does not execute a device management program, the electronic device executes a security procedure to provide protection to the electronic device.

Abstract: A hand-held electronic apparatus having a function of activating an application program of an electronic apparatus is provided, including: a storage apparatus, configured to store an operating system and a thumbnail cache file received from the electronic apparatus, where the thumbnail cache file includes a thumb corresponding to an application program in the electronic apparatus; a touch screen, configured to display the thumbnail; and a processor, configured to display the thumbnail on the touch screen by using a thumbnail layout manner specified by the operating system. The present invention further provides a method for activating an application program of an electronic apparatus, and a computer program product, where an application program installed in an electronic apparatus is activated by a hand-held electronic apparatus, so as to avoid difficulty in an operation of simulated mouse movement or keyboard input by using a hand-held electronic apparatus.

The method includes the following steps: in a first operating system, a central processing unit storing a modified file into a memory of a shared access area; the central processing unit establishing a link relationship between the first operating system and a second operating system, so that the second operating system learns an address of the modified file stored in the memory of the shared access area; switching from the first operating system to the second operating system; and in the second operating system, the central processing unit accessing the modified file in the memory of the shared access area according to the link relationship.

Abstract: A display method for logo graphics displayed on a screen is provided, implemented by a smart device. The display method includes the following steps: powering on the smart device, to enter a Basic Input Output System (BIOS) stage; accessing, from a first non-volatile memory of the smart device, exclusive logo graphics data private-key encrypted for decryption, and using a public key pre-stored in a second non-volatile memory of the smart device for verification; and displaying, when the public key matches a private key corresponding to the exclusive logo graphics data, an exclusive logo graphic on a screen according to the decrypted and decompressed exclusive logo graphics data. Abstract: A multimedia playing system for automatically notifying abnormal situations has a TV dongle and a network security camera connected to the TV dongle through network. The TV dongle has an email processing server module. The network security camera has an email transmitting module. When the network security camera detects an abnormal situation, an event message is transmitted to the email processing server module. The email processing server module accordingly generates a command. According to the command, the TV dongle transmits a control signal to control a digital TV to immediately display the abnormal situation. Therefore, the multimedia playing system automatically informs a user of the occurrence of the normal situation.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method are adapted to identify window control commands in a multi-window system. The electronic device displays multiple windows each respectively having a title bar on a touch interface. The electronic device executes the method to identify a window control command according to a touch gesture from a movement of a touch point detected on the title bar of one of the windows. The user can easily touch the title bar to operate a certain window.

Abstract: A remote control system using a handheld electronic device to remotely control electrical appliances includes a handheld electronic device and a command conversion device. The handheld electronic device uses a command input device to generate operation information. A command recognizing module receives the operation information, and identifies the corresponding home appliance remote control code. A wireless emission module emits a home appliance remote control code, which is received by the command conversion device. The command conversion device determines the infrared execution command corresponding to the home appliance remote control code. The infrared execution command is emitted by the infrared emission module to remotely control home appliances with the infrared remote control function. The handheld electronic device is enabled to provide a variety of different operating modes without significantly increasing the cost of the entire system.
