  • Publication number: 20140320407
Abstract: A motion sensing device, for a motion sensing system having a light emitting device for generating light of a first frequency range, includes a motion sensing area comprising a sensor array, for sensing light of the first frequency range to generate two-dimensional motion information of a first axis and a second axis; and a distance sensing area, configured at an outside of the motion sensing area, for sensing light of the first frequency range to generate distance information of a third axis.

  • Patent number: 7608809
Abstract: A resolution switch circuit for an image sensor uses a control unit to control a plurality of image gathering units to generate and store image signals. A resolution control unit controls a plurality of shift registers through the resolution control signals so that the shift registers control the image gathering units to output image signals. The signal combining unit is used to combine the image signals output from the image gathering units to achieve resolution change. Since the resolution switch circuit for the image sensor according to invention does not require additional resolution switch wiring, the affect of noise can be avoided and cost of the circuits can be reduced. The transmission of the image signals in the form of charges prevents any signal distortion due to resistance of wiring during transmission.

  • Patent number: 7216728
Abstract: A motorized apparatus for towing a wheelchair includes a framework, a handle assembly, a motor driving assembly and a wheelchair connecting assembly. The framework includes a chassis. The handle assembly is adjustably mounted on the chassis. The motor driving assembly is mounted on the chassis and includes a wheel assembly with a single wheel rotatably mounted on the chassis, a combined clutch and brake assembly connected to the wheel assembly, a motor assembly connected to the combined clutch and brake assembly to drive the single wheel assembly through the combined clutch and brake assembly and a one-hand operated battery assembly coupled electrically to the motor assembly to drive the control unit and the motor assembly. The wheelchair connecting assembly interconnects the framework to a wheelchair. Consequently, the motorized apparatus will tow the wheelchair along a path, road and so on.

  • Publication number: 20060082760
Abstract: An optical sensing module, an optical sensing and image capturing architecture, and a method for optically scanning fingerprints with a portable communications system are applied to a mobile phone to capture a group of images of a fingerprint on a finger of the user holding having the mobile phone. The optical sensing module has a light permeable device, at least one light source, and a sensing device. The sensing device has a plurality of sensors that form a line array of sensors. The optical sensing and image capturing architecture has the above optical sensing module and an image output unit. The volume of the optical sensing module is reduced for facilitating installation in the portable communications system, for fragmentally capturing a group of images of the fingerprint, and for processing of identification of the fingerprint.
