  • Publication number: 20090194260
Abstract: A cooling apparatus for graphic cards is used for two graphic cards that are disposed in parallel. There is a receiving space between the two graphic cards. The cooling apparatus for graphic cards includes a first base, a first cooler, a plurality of first heat pipes, a second base, a second cooler, and a plurality of second heat pipes. The first base is located on the first heat-emitting element of the first graphic card. One end of the first cooling pipe extends through the first base, and the second end of the first cooling pipe extends through the first cooler. The second base is located on the second heat-emitting element of the second graphic card. Thereby, the cooling apparatus for graphic cards can be applied to a plurality of graphic cards. The heat is simultaneously exhausted for both cards and the space is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20080314559
Abstract: A heat exchange structure is connected to a dual water cooling system and a heat dissipating apparatus has the heat exchange structure. The heat exchange structure includes a box as a main body, and the box includes a first cavity and a second cavity. The first cavity and the second cavity are interconnected with separate water cooling systems, wherein the first cavity includes a first chamber, and the first cavity has a water inlet pipeline and a water outlet pipeline, both interconnected to the first chamber. The second cavity includes a second chamber, and the second cavity has a water inlet pipeline and a water outlet pipeline, both interconnected to a second chamber. A heat conducting plate is disposed at a position that connects the first cavity and the second cavity for providing a heat conducting path of the first cavity and the second cavity.

  • Patent number: 7460372
Abstract: A fixing means for a heat dissipater is provided to position the heat dissipater and a heat-generating element, which includes a heat-dissipating base and a positioning frame. The surface of the heat-dissipating base is provided with a plurality of heat-dissipating pieces. The center of the plurality of heat-dissipating pieces is provided with a sliding groove. Further, the positioning frame is formed into a T-lettered shape and constituted of a transverse rod and a pressing end. The pressing end is accommodated in the sliding groove of the base to abut against the surface of the base. Both side faces of the transverse rod are provided with a screw hole, respectively, for receiving a locking element.

  • Publication number: 20080218140
Abstract: The present invention discloses a control apparatus, which integrates the methods of PWM signal controlling and manual voltage regulating for controlling the cooler. The control apparatus includes a voltage stabilizer, a voltage regulator, and a switching unit. The voltage stabilizer connects to a CPU of a motherboard for receiving a PWM signal and outputting a stable PWM signal. The voltage regulator connects to the voltage stabilizer for regulating the voltage level of the stable PWM signal. The switching unit connects to the voltage stabilizer, the voltage regulator and the cooler for performing a switching operation between a first control mode and a second control mode. Moreover, the control apparatus controls the cooler via the stable PWM signal in the first control mode, and controls the cooler by regulating the voltage level of the stable PWM signal in the second control mode.

  • Patent number: 7344579
Abstract: A pipe trap comprising a body, a disc filter, a pipe and a plurality of mesh filter suitable for filtering gases is provided. The pipe trap body has a gas inlet and a gas outlet. The disc filter and the mesh filters are enclosed inside the pipe trap body. One end of the pipe connects with the disc filter and the other end of the pipe connects with the gas outlet. The mesh filters are enclosed inside the pipe. Using a multi-stage filtering method, liquid matter separates out first and then gaseous particles are filtered according to the particle size so that the pipe trap has a high filtering efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20070240290
Abstract: A press-type fixing assembly for fixing a heat dissipator includes a seat body and a pressing body. The seat body has a bottom plate and a side plate that are connected with each other to form a L-lettered shape. Further, the bottom plate is provided with a positioning hole, and the side plate is provided with a through hole. The pressing body has a pressing plate. The lower end face of the pressing plate is connected to a post. The post correspondingly penetrates through the positioning hole, and the center of the post has a vertical partition. One end of the post has an engaging portion. With the post of the pressing body being pressed into the positioning hole of the seat body, the post can penetrate through the bottom plate via the elastic deformation of the partition. Finally, the post is engaged with the fixing hole of the connected substrate, thereby to rapidly fix the position of the heat dissipator.
