The method is used in a mobile node moving in an area and includes: respectively receiving spatial information broadcasted by a root node and fixed nodes in a plurality of cells constituting the area, wherein each of the fixed nodes is directly connected to the root node, or indirectly connected to the root node through one or more other fixed nodes; obtaining current leakage weight values of the mobile node that is directly connected to the root node and is indirectly connected to the root node through the fixed nodes according to the spatial information received in each of the cells; generating a connection leakage table according to the largest one among the current leakage weight values; and determining a target position of the area which the mobile node moves to according to the connection leakage table.

    Abstract: A wireless network system and a connection method for the wireless network are provided. A network device in the wireless network obtains the connecting route weights of a network base station and other network devices, the received signal strength indictor (RSSI) between the network device and the network base station, and the RSSIs between the network device and each of the other network devices. The network device obtains the routing decision values corresponding to the network base station and the other network devices and chooses the network base station or one of the other network devices corresponding to the highest routing decision value as the connection target. The network device can re-select its connection target according to environmental changes in the wireless network.

    Abstract: A system (100) for integrating a telephone (106) to a computer. The system allows the computer to be coupled to a Public Branching Exchange (PBX) (108) and perform telephone functions. The telephone is coupled to the computer as a stand alone device, or as a means for command input to the system. A pop-up screen comprising of a sequence of menus is displayed on the computer monitor (101) to guide the user through various telephone functions. A voice guide is heard through the telephone. The user can use the telephone's or the computer's I/O devices to communicate with a distant caller. Answering machine capability (e.g., phone mailbox, etc.) is also provided by this system. A quick-dial service is also provided such that the user can dial directly from a look-up table with pre-set telephone numbers.
