Abstract: A touch panel including a light guide plate, a plurality of light sources and a plurality of detectors is provided. The light guide plate has a top surface, a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces and a plurality of light incident surfaces. The light sources are disposed at the light incident surfaces of the light guide plate, and the light sources have a photocell total reflection angle (?) and a photocell vertical divergence angle (?) corresponding to the light incident surfaces of the light guide plate, wherein ?<?<60°, ? is a critical angle of the total reflection angle of the light guide plate, and ?<50°. The detectors are disposed corresponding to the light sources so as to receive photocell signals from the light sources.

Abstract: A docking device is used for docking a portable computer. The docking device defines an axis along which the portable computer moves between a docking position in the docking device and an undocking position out of the docking device. The docking device includes a hooking member and a resilient mechanism being engaged with the hooking member for providing a restoration force to the hooking member. The hooking member includes a first side surface for being pressed by the portable computer as the portable computer moves towards the casing, along where the portable computer moves from the undocked position to the docked position. A first angle is defined between the first side surface and the axis when the portable computer is in the undocked position.

Abstract: An electronic appliance includes a base defining a receiving opening, a cover pivoted to the base, and a locking mechanism slideably secured to the base next to a guide board for locking the cover to the base. The base forms a guide board in an interior thereof. The cover defines a clasping opening aligned with the receiving opening. The locking mechanism includes a locking hook, a torsion spring, an operating button, and a housing. The housing rotatably secures the locking hook thereon and is engaged with the operating button. The housing is moveable together with the operating button and remains at a first state in which the locking hook is held in the base under cooperative action of the torsion spring and the guide board and a second state in which the locking hook protrudes from the receiving opening to clasp the cover via the clasping opening.

The release mechanism is mounted rotatably on the socket member, and is formed with a wedge part that is in sliding engagement with the locking mechanism such that rotation of the wedge part of the release mechanism relative to the socket member drives the locking mechanism between a locking state, where the socket member is locked to the outer cage, and an unlocking state, where the socket member is removable from the outer cage.
