The plurality of connectors engage in the through holes and the guiding holes, fix each of the plurality of moveable blades to the main body when each of the plurality of connectors is fastened, and slide in each of the plurality of guiding holes with each of the moveable blades when each of the plurality of connectors releases.

The color filter unit is disposed on the main body. The elastic member is interposed between the locking member and the color filter unit and is compressed therebetween to push the color filter unit against the main body. In this way, the color filter unit is firmly fixed on the main body and the color wheel assembly is assembled.

    Abstract: A color wheel includes a motor, a filter and a dark slide. The motor has an adhering section and the filter is affixed to the motor by the adhering section. The filter has a first surface facing the motor and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The dark slide is affixed to the filter on the second surface. The dark slide matches the location and shape of the adhering section to block light from projecting onto the adhering section. The thermal expansion coefficients of the dark slide and the filter are substantially identical to avoid damage from thermal stress caused by heating and cooling. An assembling tool and an assembling method are also provided in the embodiments.

Using the feature of a narrow opening and wider inside, glue is added into the opening and dries to become solid balancing material. The color wheel is less prone to deviate from the metal ring, even though a relative larger centrifugal force is induced and acted thereon while the color is running at higher speed and higher temperature.
