  • Publication number: 20180311864
Abstract: A wire supplying and receiving device includes a moving unit including a rail along a first horizontal direction, a first wire winding unit disposed on the rail and rotatable about an axis parallel to the first horizontal direction, and a second wire winding unit on the rail and rotatable about the axis. At least one of the first and second wire winding units is movable along the first horizontal direction. The wire supplying and receiving device is convertible between a connected state, where the first and second wire winding units are adjacent to each other, and a disconnected state, where the first and second wire winding units are spaced apart from each other. An ingot slicing wire saw and a method for slicing ingot are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20170239842
Abstract: A roller module is used for driving a sawing wire to slice an ingot into multiple wafers, and includes two spaced apart main rollers and an auxiliary roller. Each main roller has a rotating axis and a diameter. An imaginary horizontal plane is defined to pass through the rotating axes of the main rollers. Two imaginary vertical planes are defined to be perpendicular to the imaginary horizontal plane and respectively pass through the rotating axes of the main rollers. The auxiliary roller is disposed above the imaginary horizontal plane and between the imaginary vertical planes. An uppermost side of the auxiliary roller is not lower than an uppermost side of each main roller. The auxiliary roller has a diameter smaller than one half of that of each main roller.

  • Patent number: 9380616
Abstract: A connection dormancy method for a wireless communication device, the wireless communication device and computer readable recording medium using the same are provided. The method includes recording connection information between the wireless communication device and at least one target device, and generating at least one connection establishing time according to the connection information. The method also includes determining using either a first dormancy waiting time or a second dormancy waiting time as a default dormancy waiting time according to the at least one connection establishing time, and disconnecting a connection between the wireless communication device and the at least one target device after the connection is idled for the default dormancy waiting time.

  • Patent number: 9109083
Abstract: A poly(lactic acid) resin composition, including: (a) a poly(lactic acid) resin; and (b) a modifier which is in the form of nanoparticle aggregate with a particle size of less than 1000 nm and uniformly dispersed in the poly(lactic acid) resin, wherein the nanoparticle aggregate is obtained from the polycondensation of at least one metal/nonmetal alkoxide, at least one metal/nonmetal alkoxide having at least one functional group capable of reacting with the poly(lactic acid) resin, or a mixture thereof. A process for preparing a transparent and impact-resistant article from the poly(lactic acid) resin composition of the invention, and articles prepared therefrom are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8842590
Abstract: A mobile device with a port map maintaining a list of open ports for incoming data packets is provided. A first processor receives and demodulates inbound signals into data packets. A second processor processes at least one application bound to at least one open port. The second processor enters a sleep mode to reduce power consumption if no data packet is sent from the first processor to the second processor. When the first processor receives an inbound request signal, the first processor demodulates the inbound request signal into a first data packet targeted to a destination port, and looks up the port map to determine whether the destination port is listed in the port map. If the destination port is not listed in the port map, the first processor transmits a response signal to the sender of the inbound request signal or omits the inbound request signal without waking up the second processor.
