Abstract: A sample collection device is provided, including: a container, having a chamber, including an opening and an outlet which are disposed on two opposite sides thereof, the opening, the outlet and the chamber communicated with one another, an inner wall of the container having a plurality of protrusion portions, the plurality of protrusion portions radially protruding into the chamber; a filtration unit, disposed within the container and between the chamber and the outlet; and a sampling unit, including a main body and a sample collection member made of deformed absorbent material, the sample collection member disposed on the main body, and the sample collection member being insertable into the chamber and radially squeezed by the plurality of protrusion portions.

Abstract: An automated supply management system for dynamically fulfilling a customer requested order having an order fulfillment system for fulfilling a plurality of customer requests in accordance with a plurality of processing capacity restraints defined for a plurality of pieces of manufacturing equipment disposed within a manufacturing facility; an allocation planning system for receiving a plurality of capacity modeling data from the order fulfillment system, an order management system for communicating a plurality of consumption data and a customer requested due date to the order fulfillment system, wherein the order management system requests the customer requested due date and receives a calendar date of production available to promise from the order fulfillment system; and a manufacturing planning system for receiving an order fulfillment matrix from the order fulfillment system.

Abstract: A new mechanism is provided that allows for changing the status of product in a product ordering an shipment system from products that is allocated to a customer to product that becomes available to potentially another customer. A Capacity Allocation Supported Demand (CASD) file is maintained that contains customer data and therewith, on a per customer basis, product source, a balance of product allocated to the customer and product data. At the time that an order is placed, this file is interrogated to determine if enough product is available for shipment. For instances where this is not the case, a rule based search is performed to locate product that can be allocated. An Available To Promise (ATP) file is instrumental in this search, a successful search is concluded with allocating the product to the customer order and updating the CASD and ATP files.
