  • Publication number: 20200050589
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a system, method and program product for performing code conversions. In one embodiment the method includes determining size of encoding space for a source file and a target file upon receipt of a code conversion request and generating a main conversion file upon determination that a target encoding space associated with said target file is smaller than a source encoding space associated with the source file. Subsequently an extension converted file is generated from the source file according to a pre-established mapping table of code conversion stored in a memory. The code conversion request is completed by using the main conversion file and said extension file together so that the source file does not need to be truncated in order to fit into the target conversion space.

  • Patent number: 10038462
Abstract: A method of sparse digital cancellation of receiver nonlinear distortion in carrier aggregation systems is proposed. A reference signal generator generates possible candidate reference signals to be included in a dictionary matrix D. A sparsity-based solution is then applied to dynamically select reference signals based on the RF transceiver configuration. Based on the auto-correlation and cross-correlation with an observed radio signal, a subset of reference signals is selected from the dictionary matrix to match the distortion signal. The number of selected reference signals is flexibly determined based on the design constraints on complexity and power consumption. A greedy sparse estimation approaches, e.g., Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP) can be used for reference signal selection. The reference signal selection is dynamic and adapts itself for different channel responses through correlating the observed radio signal with the dictionary reference signals.

  • Patent number: 9983870
Abstract: Software translation quality and efficiency are improved by providing user interface (UI) context for translators. Unicode symbols are used to uniquely tag user-visible strings from the source code and into resource files. Those strings include titles, product names, error messages, strings in images and any other text that may be present on the user interface. Once the ‘pseudo’ resource files are integrated into a build, automation is run to gather screenshots of the application. Image recognition is then used to link screenshots of the UI in which a resource file string appears, such that screenshots will be brought forward and displayed to the translator when working on translating the user-visible strings of the software being localized.

  • Publication number: 20180068506
Abstract: An entry managing system connected to a door-lock device is disclosed. The system controls a camera to start shooting a monitoring video of a monitoring region and stores the monitoring video in a memory when a doorbell trigger receives an operation of a visitor. The system decodes an authentication pattern to extract a visitor data when recognizing the authentication pattern in the monitoring video during shooting. The system controls the door-lock device to unlock when determining that the visitor data passes authentication. Via using the authentication pattern as an electronic key and using the camera to read the authentication pattern, this present disclosed example not only can make it easy that the administrator configures and gives a key, but also can recognize the electronic key without an additional electronic-key-reading device.

  • Patent number: 9807912
Abstract: A heat dissipating system for a data center includes a return air area and an installation area. The return air area defines a return air damper and an air outlet, and the installation area defines an air inlet damper and an air outlet damper. The installation area includes a fan control unit, a humidity control unit and an electronic device. When the humidity control unit detects that the humidity value in the installation area is greater than a standard value, the humidity control unit controls the return air damper to partly open. Warmed air generated by the electronic device partly flows to the return air area through the return air damper, and the cold air and the warmed air are mixed. The mixed air is configured to dissipate heat for the electronic device, and the humidity in the data center is reduced.
