Abstract: A video server includes a plurality of ports used for inputting and outputting material data items, a storage unit capable of storing group information about grouping of the plurality of ports, and a control unit that receives a command of designating a specific port of the plurality of ports for inputting and outputting one of a plurality of specific material data items and the other of the plurality of specific material data items as a first port, determines one or more other ports belonging to the same group of the first port as one or more second ports on the basis of the group information, and executes the command so as to synchronize the plurality of material data items each other using the first port and the one or more second ports.

Abstract: A RAID controller includes a first serial interface, a second serial interface, and a control unit. To the first serial interface, a host device is connectable. The second serial interface has a plurality of ports to each of which a storage device capable of executing a command is connectable. The control unit controls the second serial interface so that, when a significant value is written to a predetermined control register which is determined to be unused on a serial interface standard for a type of the command obtained from the host device through the first serial interface among a control register group to which a parameter is written, the value is regarded as port information for specifying the port to which the storage device caused to execute the command is connected, and the command is transferred to the storage device via the port specified by the port information.

Abstract: A data-processing device includes: a conversion section performing a process of format-conversion in an interactive manner on an AV file between an AV independent format and an AV multiplex format at the time of data communication between an AV server and a network module; a time slot setting section setting a conversion process time slot, a server-side time slot and a network-side time slot; and a time slot control section controlling the allocation of the format conversion process, the data communication process with the AV server and the data communication process with the network module, so that each of the three processes is periodically performed at specified time intervals by allocating the format conversion process and the data communication process on a plurality of AV files to the conversion process time slot and the server-side time slot, respectively, and so that the two processes are performed in parallel.
