    Abstract: An automotive internal combustion engine control system transmits the output of a starting motor capable of operating as a generator to an internal combustion engine in starting the internal combustion engine, and transmits the output of the internal combustion engine to accessories while the internal combustion engine is in operation. The automotive internal combustion engine control system includes a transmission mechanism that transmits the output of the starting motor to the accessories while the internal combustion engine is stopped for a predetermined condition, transmits the rotation of the drive shaft of the starting motor to the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine at a high first gear ratio in starting the internal combustion engine, and transmits the rotation of the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine to the drive shaft of the starting motor at a low second gear ratio while the internal combustion engine is in operation to operate the starting motor as a generator.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes a linear solenoid valve regulating an oil pressure supplied to a clutch, a hydraulic switch being switched on and off upon receipt of a switching oil pressure, and a control unit controlling the actuation of the solenoid valve. A pressure-increased side signal oil pressure is detected which results when the hydraulic switch is switched on and off while a control signal is sent to the solenoid valve to increase a control oil pressure from a predetermined lower pressure to a predetermined higher pressure, and a pressure-decreased side signal oil pressure is detected which results when the hydraulic switch is switched on and off while the control signal is sent to decrease the control oil pressure from the predetermined higher pressure to the predetermined lower pressure. When a difference between these signal oil pressures exceeds an abnormalities determination value, it is determined that the solenoid valve is abnormal.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for a hydraulically operated vehicular transmission has a plurality of transmission trains to be established by a selective operation of a plurality of hydraulic engaging elements. The apparatus has a selecting device for selecting a transmission train according to a running condition of a vehicle. The apparatus is provided with a detecting device for detecting a power transmission capability value of the hydraulic engaging elements, and a device for determining a transmission train to be established, based on a detected result of the detecting device and a selected result of the selecting device. The detecting device detects a hydraulic engaging element whose power transmission capability value is above a predetermined value and designates a transmission train that corresponds to the detected hydraulic engaging element.
