  • Patent number: 7192258
Abstract: An axial flow type cooling fan, comprising an upper casing, a lower casing, a rotor assembly, and a driving unit. The lower casing and the upper casing enclose an inner space. The rotor assembly is housed in the inner space and performs a rotational movement. The rotor assembly further comprises a plurality of blades, attached to a central shaft and having a peripheral ring, from which a peripheral rim extends outward. The driving unit has electric coils on the upper or lower casings and permanent magnets on the peripheral rim, causing the rotational movement of said rotor assembly. By the arrangement of these structural parts, an increased area of air flow and consequently increased air flow are attained, while drag and noise are reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050150671
Abstract: A turbine motor for a pneumatic tool, comprising a casing, a rotor and an axis. Compressed air enters the casing through an inlet and is directed towards blades of the rotor in a radial direction, so that torque is exerted on the axis. The blades of the rotors are to a large part hit by compressed air, each for an extended time, so that high effectivity and good efficiency result, allowing for operation at high speed and under high load.

  • Publication number: 20050112526
Abstract: A dental hand piece, comprising a casing, an axis, front and rear bearings, a turbine, a front lid, and a drill head. Air of high pressure enters the casing through an air inlet, is led through a front ring channel, hits the air turbine in an axial direction, driving a rotational movement of the air turbine, passes through a rear ring channel and leaves the casing through an air outlet. A path for fluids from the drill head to reach the air outlet is blocked, effectivity of driving is increased, and noise is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6647732
Abstract: The present invention relates to a turbine engine, wherein compressor rotor blades and turbine rotor blades set around the interior circular surface of a hollow revolving shaft while compressor stator blades and turbine stator blades are set around the exterior circular surface of an inner engine case inside the hollow revolving shaft. By using the present invention, the configuration of the turbine engine can be compact, and the volume can be substantially reduced. Besides, the stiffness of the rotor blades can be increased, and efficiency of the compressor, the burner, the turbine, and the whole engine can be increased.

  • Patent number: 5831376
Abstract: An electro magnetic controlled platinum infrared filament ignitor has a screw nut, a top pin, an electro magnetic induction coil, a magnetic permeable bolt, a metal wrapped cylinder and a platinum filament. Heat produced by current flowing in the platinum filament actuates the ignitor. The magnetic force set up by the energized coil, and spring force drives the adjustable top pin to the position of the platinum filament. The ignitor is simple in construction with endurable long life and efficient for ignition in most gas turbines, reciprocating engines and gas burners.

  • Patent number: 5782079
Abstract: A miniture liquid-fueled turbojet engine for powering remote control model aeroplane or light pilotless aircraft includes a plural number of tiny pressure-swirl type atomizers for thoroughly atomizing liquid fuel and a V-gutter flame holder. High combustion efficiency and satisfactory outlet temperature pattern factor can be obtained in the present combustion system of the engine. This is because the system possesses the characteristics such as fine spray of liquid fuel, long residence time of fuel droplets, efficient flame holding mechanism and good mixing in the dilution region. As a result, safety and maneuverability of the present engine can be enhanced in comparison with the engines of prior art.
