  • Publication number: 20240085046
Abstract: An air-conditioning system includes a second control device that is communicable with a first control device that controls a first system including a first air-conditioning device by first communication using a first communication protocol, to control a second system including a second air-conditioning device by second communication using a second communication protocol different from the first communication protocol, in which the second control device is communicable with the first control device by third communication using an XML communication protocol, acquires first control information from the first control device by the third communication, the first control information being used for controlling the first system, creates second control information based on the first control information acquired by the third communication, the second control information causing the second system to execute control corresponding to control of the first system.

  • Patent number: 11255560
Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus includes a plurality of indoor units each individually conditioning air in an air-conditioning target space, a storage unit storing detection values of a plurality of suction temperature sensors in time series, a timer measuring, for each of the plurality of indoor units, a preset temperature arrival period it takes for a suction temperature to reach a preset temperature for the air-conditioning target space after start of a thermo-on state or a thermo-off state, a calculation unit calculating, for each of the plurality of indoor units, a temperature change slope representing a change in the suction temperature for the preset temperature arrival period, and a determination unit comparing the temperature change slope of each of the plurality of indoor units with a determination threshold to determine, as an abnormal indoor unit, the indoor unit having the temperature change slope greater than the determination threshold.

  • Patent number: 10619875
Abstract: A controller of an indoor unit included in an air-conditioning system determines whether or not a communication error with the outdoor unit is an energization error that only occurs during an energization time in which electric power is fed from a commercial power supply to the outdoor unit. The controller can also determine whether or not the communication error is a connection establishment error that occurs at a time of establishing a connection with the outdoor unit. Based on determining the cause of the communication error with the outdoor unit, the controller can drive a fan by electric power fed from an emergency power supply.

  • Publication number: 20180017280
Abstract: A controller of an indoor unit included in an air-conditioning system includes a power applied time error determination unit that, when a communication error occurs in communication with an outdoor unit, determines whether or not the communication error is a power applied time error peculiar to a power applied time when electric power is fed from a commercial power supply to the outdoor unit, a connection establishment error determination unit that, when the power applied time error determination unit determines that the communication error is not the power applied time error, determines whether or not the communication error is a connection establishment error that occurs at a time of establishing a connection with the outdoor unit, to detect power failure in the outdoor unit, and a fan control unit that, when the connection establishment error determination unit determines that the communication error is the connection establishment error, drives a fan by electric power fed from an emergency power supply.
