  • Patent number: 6045731
Abstract: According to the invention, a novel guide member for integrally forming the fastening parts with the urethane mold and an integral molding method using the guide member are provided. The guide member includes a guide body that has an extended body which includes concave cross-section and at least one open end (4, 7), and isolation members (5, 6) provided near the ends of said guide portion. The isolation members are detachable, and by engaging with the fastening surface of the fastening parts, they effectively block any seepage of liquid foaming raw material. With the integral forming method using said guide member of the invention, it is possible to embed the ends of the fastening parts within the urethane molding and to improve its peeling strength at low cost.

  • Patent number: 5702159
Abstract: A cushion body (10) for forming a car seat, which facilitates attachment of a skin material (15) to a cushion material (11).The cushion body (10) is made by attaching a planar fastening body (12) in a cushion material molding die (20) and unifying with the cushion material (11) along a three-dimensional curved surface shape of an interior surface of the die by an internal foamed molding pressure of the cushion material (11). The planar fastening body (12) is made of a planar fastening material (13) connecting with a supporting material (14) which is basically the same composition as the cushion material (11).

  • Patent number: 5654069
Abstract: A cushion body structure (1) is connected to a planar fastening body (4) with a cushion material (6), by spacing in a proper distance at least a part along a side end (7) of the planar fastener (4) from the cushion material (2, 3) positioned in proximity of it through a space (11). When a skin material (12) fastened to the planar fastener (4) is tensioned, it is not moved to separate from and fasten to the skin material again and thereby does not produce noise.

  • Patent number: 5630240
Abstract: In a cushion body structure of a car seat, which is made by fastening a skin material to a cushion material by using a planar fastening material, an impregnation layer made of a foamed body is not produced. In the cushion body structure, a planar fastening body (4) is integrally molded with a cushion material by shielding and clamping walls (22, 23) for preventing entry of a foaming solution in a molding die (20) of the cushion material (2,3), so that an opening is provided between the periphery of the planar fastening body and the side (3) of the cushion material, and a non-impregnation layer (7) is formed in the periphery.

  • Patent number: 4430016
Abstract: A ball joint having an annular bearing member made of a plastic and mounted in an inner space of a socket and slidably embracing a head portion of a ball stud. A plurality of grooves are formed in the outer peripheral surface of said bearing member contacting the inner surface of said inner space of said socket so as to extend in the axial direction of said ball stud. A multiplicity of minute convexities and concavities are formed in the spherical inner surface of said bearing member facing said head portion of said ball stud.

  • Patent number: 3971550
Abstract: An elastic eye-bush is provided for use in combination with the eyeend of an automobile leaf spring, etc. for absorption of radially applied shock loads. The bush has its intermediate portion diametrically reduced so as to provide a space between the eyeend and the intermediate portion, which portion is made up of co-centrically stratified layers of different hardness. The eye-bush offers an improved damping characteristic exhibiting a low spring constant under smaller loads and a high one under larger loads.
