  • Patent number: 7717689
Abstract: To provide a rotor apparatus of a pump in which pressure release in the air gap between an oil seal and an inner rotor is conducted smoothly and good durability and sealing ability of the oil seal is maintained and which has a very simple structure and allows the increase in size to be avoided. The rotor apparatus of a pump includes a drive shaft in which a plurality of arcuate circumferential surface sections centering on an axial center and a plurality of flat surface sections are disposed alternately, and an inner rotor having a mounting hole into which the drive shaft is inserted. In the mounting hole, arcuate inner peripheral sections corresponding and equal in number to the arcuate circumferential surface sections and flat surface inner peripheral sections corresponding and equal in number to the flat surface sections are formed alternately.

  • Publication number: 20070185451
Abstract: A pressure bag (1) includes: a pressing chamber (2) adapted to be inflated by air-feeding; and a rectangular outer layer (3) having such length as to surround the pressing chamber (2). Fasteners (35, 36) are formed on one end side of a front surface and the other end side of a back surface of shorter sides of the outer layer (3). The pressing chamber (2) is fixed to the outer layer (3) in the axial direction. In use, infusion bags (40, 41) are surrounded by the outer layer (3) in a manner contacting with the pressing chamber (2) and fastened by the fasteners (35, 36).

  • Patent number: 6812470
Abstract: The invention is a process and reactors designs for simultaneous ultraviolet light/ultrasound(UV/US) treatment of halogenated organic compounds contaminants in water. The reactors are preferably circular cylindrical reaction vessels that accept a central ultrasonic horn. UV light is provided by lamps placed generally parallel to the reactor walls. Or, UV light may be centrally provided in an immersion well near the ultrasonic horn. Also, preferably a hollow metal partition with a reactant flow-through hole is placed in the reactor between the UV light source and the ultrasonic horn. This way, simultaneous UV/US energy may be effectively provided to the reactors for the remediation of toxic compounds in the water in the reactors. Also, this way, compact and portable reactors may be constructed to permit mobile applications of the UV/US processes.
