  • Patent number: 8228421
Abstract: An EFP lens 12 is mounted on an ENG camera 14 through a lens supporter 16. Normally, a connector 30 of the EFP lens 12 is joined to a connector 32 of the lens supporter 16, and signal lines from pins of the connector 30 of the EFP lens 12 are connected to corresponding pins of a parallel connector 38 and corresponding pins of a serial connector 62 in the lens supporter 16. When the parallel connector 38 is connected to the connector 34 of the ENG camera 14, it is possible to perform the parallel communication between the EFP lens 12 and the ENG camera 14. When the serial connector 62 is connected to the connector 34 of the ENG camera 14, it is possible to perform the serial communication.

  • Patent number: 7877006
Abstract: A focus information display system is provided in which focus state detection that is performed during automatic focusing (AF) and the like is also performed during manual focusing (MF) and the like to display focus information indicating a focus state. By arranging a focus position range at which a correct focus state is determined when a correct focus display is being performed to be wider than a focus position range at which a correct focus state is determined when an out-of-focus display is being performed, stabilization of a state of correct focus display is achieved without jeopardizing correct focusing accuracy when performing focusing according to a focus information display.

  • Patent number: 7636519
Abstract: In a lens control system, a temporary target position is obtained such that the turning operation is not limited to a value within the movable range of the movable lens in correspondence with the rotational position of the operating member; a normal target position limited to a position within the movable range of the movable lens is set from the temporary target position; and the movable lens is moved to the normal target position. The temporary target position indicates an absolute rotational position of the operating member. If the temporary target position is a position within the movable range of the movable lens (other than the ends), the movable lens is set at the temporary target position, thereby ensuring that the movable lens is set at a fixed position with respect to the corresponding fixed position of the operating member.

  • Publication number: 20090201409
Abstract: A television camera system is provided and includes: a television camera main body; a lens device; and a monitor. Focus information obtained by an auto-focusing function of the lens device can be displayed on the monitor via the television camera main body. In a case where a controller including a display instruction unit that instructs whether the focus information is to be displayed on the monitor is coupled to the lens device, the lens device determines whether the focus information is to be displayed on the monitor in accordance with an instruction from the display instruction unit, and in a case where the controller is not coupled to the lens device, the lens device determines that the focus information is to be displayed on the monitor.

  • Publication number: 20090195687
Abstract: A television camera system is provided and includes a television camera body and a lens device. When a power source is turned on, a lens controlling of the lens device recognizes a kind of the camera main body in accordance with a setting state of a camera code switch to decide whether or not an initializing process in the lens device can be carried out as usual. If the initializing process cannot be carried out, the initializing process in the lens device is interrupted for a prescribed time. After the prescribed time elapses, the initializing process in the lens device is started.

  • Patent number: 7546027
Abstract: An image blur correction apparatus that includes a blur detection device, which detects a vibration applied to an optical system and outputs a blur signal in accordance with the detected vibration. Image blur correction is performed to cancel out an image blur that is produced by a vibration applied to the optical system, based on a blur signal output from the blur detection device. A determining device determines whether or not the size of a correction amount, indicating a size of an image blur correction according to the image blur correcting device, exceeds a predetermined threshold value. When the determining device determines that the a size of a correction amount exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the determination device switches from a mode of image blur correction to a mode of a pan/tilt operation.

  • Publication number: 20090059016
Abstract: An image stabilization apparatus being mounted on a lens device of a television camera includes an angular velocity sensor, a HPF, a LPF, an A/D converter, a CPU, a D/A converter, a motor driving circuit, a motor, and an anti-vibration lens. The CPU acquires a sensor signal output from the angular velocity sensor, and performs image stabilization based on the angular velocity signal by driving the anti-vibration lens. The image stabilization apparatus has a connector for acquiring a vibration signal being output from a tripod for supporting the television camera. The CPU may acquire the vibration signal received from the connector through the HPF, the LPF, and the A/D converter, and perform the image stabilization based on the vibration signal by driving the anti-vibration lens. Whether the image stabilization is performed based on the sensor signal or the vibration signal can be selected with a changing-over switch.
