  • Patent number: 4719522
Abstract: In a magnetic recording method in which, for the purpose of tracking, a signal having a predetermined frequency is extracted from a reproduced FM recording signal recorded on a magnetic recording medium, and the magnetic head is brought to a position where the amplitude of the signal of predetermined frequency becomes substantially maxim; an FM recording signal recorded on a track of the recording medium is reproduced immediately after the recording, when dropout is detected in the recorded signal, a signal having a frequency other than the predetermined frequency is recorded on the same track in a relation superposed on the recorded signal, and the same recording signal as that recorded already on the dropout-including track is recorded on another track which may be the next adjacent track again.

  • Patent number: 4689662
Abstract: A method of recording and reproducing a line sequential color video signal comprising the steps of converting the reproduced two separate line sequential color difference signals into simultaneous color difference signals, subjecting two separate carriers to balanced modulation by said simultaneous color difference signals to provide simultaneous carrier color difference signals, mixing the simultaneous carrier color difference signals delayed by one horizontal scanning period with those not delayed, and combining the resultant signals with a luminance signal delayed by one horizontal scanning period during recording or reproduction of the video signal.

  • Patent number: 4660102
Abstract: An electronic camera for shooting an object to store a still picture of the object in a first rotary magnetic recording medium in the form of video signals includes a driving device for turning the first rotary magnetic recording medium which is detachably mounted, and a recording device for recording video signals of a unit of still picture on the first rotary magnetic recording medium while rotating. The electronic still camera further includes a first terminal for receiving video signals of still picture read out from a second rotary magnetic recording medium, a second terminal for receiving a control signal in response to a reading operation of the video signals from the second rotary magnetic recording medium, and a control device for controlling the driving device and the recording device.

  • Patent number: 4598243
Abstract: A direct-current power supply for supplying electric current to a load and operable with a plurality of types of batteries includes a housing unit for loading therein batteries employed, a monitor device for monitoring a voltage output from batteries in use, an indicator for indicating a warning, a comparing device which compares the monitored voltage with a reference voltage to energize the indicator when the monitored voltage becomes lower than the reference voltage, a voltage generating unit for generating a plurality of voltages as the reference voltages associated with the types of batteries available, and a selecting unit for selectively supplying one of the plurality of voltages generated to the comparing device. Each of the plurality of voltages is set to a value higher than a limit voltage which is sufficiently low for allowing an normal operation of the load.
