Patent number: 6408138Abstract: The camera view-correction apparatus comprises at least one dividing plate located in the view finder so as to divide the view finder into several regions. Each region has a light source at the far end, so that when all the light sources are successfully observed without being shielded by the dividing plate, it indicates that the optical axis of the view finder is matched with the optical axis of the lens. Alternatively, the camera view-correction apparatus has a plurality of plates located in the view finder. The plates enclose a tunnel free space with a cross shape for the cross-sectional view. Light can pass the tunnel free space and reach the eyes. If the optical axis of the view finder is tilted, some portion of the light is shielded by the plates with respect to the tilted direction.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 2000Date of Patent: June 18, 2002Assignee: Umax Data Systems, Inc.Inventors: Guang-Shang Chang, Chien-Chin Chan, Chien-Ming Peng

Patent number: 6304233Abstract: The present invention proposes an improved antenna connector of a cellular phone. The antenna comprises a sleeve spindle, a base, and a compression spring. The present invention is characterized in that a plugging hole is disposed on the top end of the sleeve spindle of the antenna so that a first connector at one end of a signal adapting wire can be plugged therein. The first connector can penetrate into the compression spring and contact with the compression spring so that the signal adapting wire can connect the cellular phone to a car antenna. Noise interference can be prevented when the cellular phone is used in the car so as to achieve better transmission quality. Easy and convenient use can thus be achieved. Destruction of the antenna and the possibility that the antenna is lost can also be effectively avoided. Moreover, the structure of the present invention is very simple so that production cost can be greatly reduced.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2000Date of Patent: October 16, 2001Inventor: Tien-Chin Chan

Patent number: 6075312Abstract: A main structure is intended to engage and disengage an flow-injection type piezoelectric sensor and is composed of a movable stand, a lifting mechanism, and a fixed injection portion. The movable stand is capable of being actuated by a rotary shaft of the lifting mechanism to move upwards or downwards. The movable stand is provided with a retaining slot capable of catching and releasing the flow-injection type piezoelectric sensor. When the movable stand is lifted, a transparent end of the fixed injection portion is in an intimate contact with a planar surface of the flow-injection type piezoelectric sensor which is caught in the retaining slot of the movable stand. A liquid test sample is thus injected into a charge channel of the transparent end such that the liquid test sample flows on the surface of a piezoelectric crystal located in an opening of the planar surface of the flow-injection type piezoelectric sensor for detecting the presence of a target molecule in the test sample.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 1998Date of Patent: June 13, 2000Assignee: Smart Biotechnology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tzong-Zeng Wu, I-Nan Chang, Chung-Chih Lo, Wu-Chin Chan, Ray-Yi Hsu

Patent number: 5737135Abstract: An opto-mechanical apparatus for moving and scanning in an optical system comprises a step motor, a timing belt, a first lead screw carrying a first optical assembly, and a second lead screw carrying a second optical assembly. Each of the lead screws has a spiral thread forming a lead path. The lead path of the second lead screw is twice as long as the lead path of the first lead screw. Each lead screw has a gear fastened to its one end. The timing belt connects the rotation axis of the step motor and the two gears on the lead screws. When the step motor rotates, the two gears are driven by the timing belt. The two lead screws are also rotated by the gears. The first optical assembly moves twice as fast as the second optical assembly because the two gears have identical radii but the second lead path is twice long. The different distances traveled by the two optical assemblies ensure that the optical system has a constant optical resolution while scanning.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1996Date of Patent: April 7, 1998Assignee: Umax Data Systems Inc.Inventor: Chien-Chin Chan
