    Abstract: A feeding mechanism is adapted for use with a woodworking machine. The feeding mechanism includes a rail unit adapted to be disposed on two sides of a worktable, a feeding unit, and a press roller unit. The feeding unit includes a slidable body adapted to extend across the worktable and disposed slidably on the rail unit, two spaced apart rollers disposed on the slidable body, a belt component trained on the rollers, and a driving component for driving the rollers to rotate along with the belt component. The press roller unit is adapted to extend slidably across the worktable and includes a slidable seat disposed slidably on the rail unit, a press roller connected pivotally to the slidable seat, and a resilient component adapted for biasing the press roller to press the workpiece against the feeding unit.

The feeding roller unit includes a driven shaft that extends along an axis from the driving unit and that is driven by the driving unit to rotate about the axis, a feeding roller that is disposed co-rotatably around the driven shaft, a plurality of contact components, and a plurality of resilient components. Each of the contact components has a contact end portion and is resiliently movable relative to the feeding roller between an extended position, where the contact end portion is exposed from the feeding roller, and a retracted position, where the contact end portion is retracted into the feeding roller. Each of the resilient components is disposed for biasing a respective one of the contact components toward the extended position.

    Abstract: An electronic device electrically connected to an external electronic component is provided. The electronic device comprises first conductors for contacting the external electronic component and a base. The base has holes with second conductors disposed on inner walls thereof and an elastic body having terminal receiving holes for receiving the first conductors. The first and second conductors and the elastic body are disposed at appropriate positions. When the external electronic device presses and contacts the first conductors, the elastic body is forced to deform, and the first conductors are made to move to contact the second conductors. As the elastic body has good elasticity, the first conductors after being compressed can contact the second conductors of the base, and thus soldering is not required, which facilitates the electrical connection to a chip module.

    Abstract: The invention provides a conduction terminal, and the conduction terminal includes a weld part and a solder. The weld part includes an end surface and a side wall adjacent to the end surface. A solder film covers the end surface and the side wall. Compared with prior art, a solder on the weld part of the conduction terminal of the invention forms as a film. Therefore, the conduction terminal of the invention is easily welded on a substrate, and the conduction terminals do not easily have a short circuit and conjoined solders.

    Abstract: An electrical connector and its assembly method, in which the electrical connector includes an insulator body and conductive terminals, wherein the insulator body has a first surface and a second surface and a plurality of through slots each including a first and a second terminal receiving slots, each conductive terminal including a first and a second sections respectively received within the first and the second terminal receiving slots, the second section being wider than the first terminal receiving slot, wherein the second section of each terminal and the sidewall of the second terminal receiving slot form a cooperating structure close to the second surface for preventing the withdrawing of the terminal from the through slot. According to the present invention, there is no need to provide several barbs on each terminal for pressed fitting with the insulator body. Thus, the walls of the insulator body will not be damaged.

    Abstract: A shock absorbing device for a notebook computer module. The device comprises of a notebook computer module, a cooling/protective plate, and two springs. A first spring is installed between the notebook computer module and the cooling/protective plate that provides a force trying to separate the cooling/protective plate and the module. The cooling/protective plate has a hole that permits a fastening insert to pass through. A first end of the fastening insert protrudes outside the cooling/protective plate while a second end of the fastening insert fastens onto the notebook computer module. There is a second spring between the first end of the fastening insert and the cooling/protective plate. The second spring provides a force trying to draw the cooling/protective plate closer to the module.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a feeder including a roller seat, a threaded control shaft which has one end protruding out from the roller seat, and an adjusting knob connected with the end of the threaded control shaft for changing the rotating speed of the conveying rollers of the feeder by means of manually rotating the adjusting knob. The protruding end of the threaded control shaft is surrounded by a sleeve member so as to protect the protruding end of the threaded control shaft from the accumulation of foreign matter. The sleeve member has predetermined graduation marks scaled on an outer surface of the sleeve member to show the rotating speed of the conveying rollers when the adjusting knob is rotated downwards and upwards.
