Abstract: A charging device and a handheld electronic device both with adaptive current limiting protection are provided. Both of the charging device and the handheld electronic device have a connection interface and an adaptive current limiting protection circuit comprising an impedance unit, a switch, and a control unit. The control unit is electrically coupled to the switch, the impedance unit, and an electrical path connected to a power pin of the connection interface. The control unit stores a plurality of voltage values and a plurality of different corresponding current limit values. The control unit is configured to measure the voltage of the electrical path to obtain a measured voltage, and the control unit is further configured to measure the voltage across the impedance unit to calculate a current value. When the current value reaches the current limit value corresponding to the measured voltage, the control unit turns off the switch.

  • Publication number: 20140049209
Abstract: A charging converter has a first protocol interface and a second protocol interface mounted on a body. The body further has a switching circuit. Each of the first protocol interface and the second protocol interface has a power pin, a ground pin and two data pins. The power pin of the first protocol interface is connected to the power pin of the second protocol interface. The data pins of the second protocol interface are connected to the data pins of the first protocol interface through the switching circuit. The switching circuit serves to switch to a synchronous mode or a fast charging mode. When the synchronous mode is selected, the power and data channels between the first protocol interface and the second protocol interface are simultaneously established. When the fast charging mode is selected, only the power channel is established to accelerate the charging speed.

  • Publication number: 20050109957
Abstract: An activating/processing apparatus for liquid fuel, including an enclosing/binding sleeve made of highly elastic and heat-resistant gum material. The enclosing/binding sleeve has a substantially annular cross-section having a split. The enclosing/binding sleeve defines a central interior holding space for a fuel pipeline to pass therethrough. The wall of the enclosing/binding sleeve is formed with several axial receiving passages, whereby a far-infrared generating unit can be placed in each receiving passage. The liquid fuel pipeline can be highly elastically and easily held and bound in the holding space of the enclosing/binding sleeve. The enclosing/binding sleeve can be easily stretched for conveniently mounting the enclosing/binding sleeve on the pipeline. The far-infrared generating units are evenly distributed and accommodated in the receiving passages of the enclosing/binding sleeve to evenly provide co-vibration effect for the fuel in the pipeline.
