    Abstract: A spanner with a sleeve having teeth and a smooth portion comprises a spanner body having a sleeve at one end thereof. A lower portion of the sleeve is formed with a resisting portion at a lower end. The resisting portion has a plurality of teeth at an inner periphery thereof. An inner wall of the sleeve below the resisting portion is formed as a smooth portion. An upper side of the sleeve is formed as a retracting portion. An annular recess being formed at a retracting portion; a restoring structure including a C ring, a spring, and a push unit. When the buckling flange of the push unit resists against one end of the resisting portion, the resisting surface of the push unit protrudes out of the resisting portion to slightly protrude from the smooth portion.

The drive piece can be folded about the retaining pin to change the angular position of the drive piece with respect to the handle.

    Abstract: A locking structure of a unidirectional spanner comprises a spanner body having a receiving chamber and at least one directional control communicated with the receiving chamber; a toothless ratchet receiving in the receiving chamber; at least one directional control device receiving in the directional control groove; the directional control device being formed by a directional control unit and an elastomer; the directional control unit being locked with the toothless ratchet. If the spanner body moves, a reverse force will apply to the toothless ratchet; when the reverse force causes the directional control unit to move away from the elastomer, the toothless ratchet will be locked by the directional control unit so that the toothless ratchet rotate synchronously with the spanner body. When the reverse force cause that the directional control unit can compress the elastomer, the toothless ratchet will rotate independently, namely, not rotate synchronously with the spanner body.

Thereby, when a hexagonal screwing unit of the screw unit buckled against the resisting annual element will be received in the smooth portion of the flower form opening. Since no ratchet tooth is formed on the smooth portion and the diameter of the smooth portion is slightly larger than that of the hexagonal screwing unit of the screw unit, the spanner body will rotate idly.
