Publication number: 20190113864Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a housing, a toner conveying shaft and a percussion device. The housing has a barrel portion, in which toners are contained, and a transmission portion rotatably disposed at an end of the barrel portion. The toner conveying shaft is rotatably disposed inside the barrel portion of the housing and drivenable by the transmission portion of the housing to rotate. The percussion device is configured to intermittently vibrate the barrel portion of the housing when the toner conveying shaft rotates. As such, when the percussion device intermittently vibrates the barrel portion of the housing, the toners attached on an inner wall surface of the barrel portion will be shaken down for being further discharged out of barrel portion, thereby reducing the residual amount of the toners that are contained in the barrel portion of the housing.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2017Publication date: April 18, 2019Inventors: Chin-His CHUANG, Chi-Chin HUANG

Patent number: 9996027Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a barrel having an opening, a transmission cap rotatably disposed to the barrel and blocking the opening, a sealing tape, and a toner conveying shaft rotatably disposed inside the barrel. The transmission cap has an outlet and an inner drive portion. The sealing tape has a first end sealing the outlet, and a second end fixedly mounted to the barrel. The toner conveying shaft has a driven portion. During a rotational period of the transmission cap, the first end of the sealing tape detaches from the outlet first, and then the inner drive portion abuts against the driven portion. When the transmission cap continuously rotates, the toner conveying shaft is driven by the transmission cap to rotate. As such, the transmission cap can drive the toner conveying shaft to synchronously rotate after the transmission cap brings the sealing tape to detach from the outlet.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2017Date of Patent: June 12, 2018Assignee: GENERAL PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTDInventors: Chin-His Chuang, Chi-Chin Huang

Publication number: 20170168419Abstract: A toner cartridge includes a cylinder, a transmission member fixedly sleeved onto the cylinder, and a covering member sleeved onto the transmission member. The transmission member has a base pipe portion, a gear ring provided on the periphery of the base pipe portion and engaged with a driving gear of an electronic imaging device, and a protruded portion provided on the periphery of the base pipe portion. The peripheries of the protruded portion and the base pipe portion form a circumferential surface, so that a sensor in the electronic imaging device can sense positional variation of the circumferential surface during rotation of the transmission member. The sensor senses the pass of the protruded portion once in every revolution of the rotation of the transmission member. Therefore, the residual powder in the toner cartridge, which should be replaced according to an alarm of the electronic imaging device, is reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 21, 2016Publication date: June 15, 2017Inventors: Chin-His CHUANG, Zheng-Yi XIAO
