    Abstract: A method includes providing a substrate having a surface such that a first hard mask layer is formed over the surface and a second hard mask layer is formed over the first hard mask layer, forming a first pattern in the second hard mask layer, where the first pattern includes a first mandrel oriented lengthwise in a first direction and a second mandrel oriented lengthwise in a second direction different from the first direction, and where the first mandrel has a top surface, a first sidewall, and a second sidewall opposite to the first sidewall, and depositing a material towards the first mandrel and the second mandrel such that a layer of the material is formed on the top surface and the first sidewall but not the second sidewall of the first mandrel.

    Abstract: A probe cover for an ear thermometer and a grouping method of the same are provided. The probe cover for the ear thermometer includes a conical main body having a closed end and an open end, an annular elastomer, and a flange. The closed end is penetrable by infrared rays, and has different infrared transmittances according to thickness variations of the closed end. The annular elastomer is located between the conical main body and the flange. The flange has a plurality of detection positions, each of which having a positive detection pattern or a negative detection pattern, such that the detection positions are arranged to form a plurality of different detection combinations. The different detection combinations respectively correspond to the different infrared transmittances, and any two of the different detection combinations have the two corresponding infrared transmittances that are different from one another.

    Abstract: A management method for a cutting tool of a machine tool is provided. A user host imports a graphical data of a workpiece and a cutting tool database into CAM, and a user may select cutting tools to establish a complete machining process. T codes are replaced with electronic tags. Before executing a machine code comprising the electronic tags, the machine tool re-scans the cutting tools assembled at a tool turret and updates cutting tool arrangement information to ensure that the tool turret is equipped with the cutting tools used in the machining process. When the machine tool stores the electronic tags, a ready message is displayed for reminding an operator. When the electronic tags are not stored, the current storage location of a cutting tool lacked in the machining process or a warning message is displayed at the operation interface for reminding the operator.

A stator piece that is arranged inside a motor body forms arrayed holes for wire winding. The holes receive insulation plates that are configured to correspond to the shape of the holes to be fit therein. Opposite ends of the stator piece receive end rings to fix and assemble thereto. End tabs formed at edges of the insulation plates are arranged to fit into and cover edge surface of a winding slot of each of the holes to realize complete coverage of the insulation for stator winding thereby ensuing operation safety when the motor is activated and put into operation.

    Abstract: An illuminating lamp device comprises a conductive casing having a transparent portion; a seat installed below the casing; a power source; a switch for actuating the power source and movably installed in the seat and passing through the seat to protrude out of a bottom of the casing; a conductive sheet extending from the switch; one end of the conductive sheet being connected to the power source; a lamp for emitting light; the lamp having two electrodes; one electrode being in contact with the casing; another electrode being placed above the conductive sheet; when the electrode being in contact with the conductive sheet, the circuit is conducted so that the lamp lights up. When the switch is pressed, the conductive sheet extending from the switch will contact the electrode so as to form an electric loop including the power source, conductive sheet, electrode, lamp and casing; and thus the lamp lights up.

    Abstract: An optical horizontal measurement device utilizes a knob containing a light-beam module for projecting a beam of light in a particular direction so as to perform an angular measurement, whereby we can draw a line in accordance with the beam. The optical horizontal measurement device further includes a supplementary metallic plate for being mounted firstly at a measurement location.
