  • Publication number: 20240098652
Abstract: In an example, a computing device may include a first radio device including a first antenna, a second radio device including a second antenna, and a basic input/output system (BIOS). The BIOS may establish a communication with the first and second radio devices. Further, the BIOS may receive first transmission status information associated with the first antenna from the first radio device and second transmission status information associated with the second antenna from the second radio device. Furthermore, the BIOS may detect a condition indicative of a combined transmit power of the first and second antennas exceeding a radio frequency exposure threshold based on the first and second transmission status information. The BIOS may instruct the first radio device, the second radio device, or both to perform a mitigation action to maintain the combined transmit power at or below the radio frequency exposure threshold.

  • Patent number: 10015685
Abstract: A network infrastructure for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The infrastructure comprises a fronthaul network, an RRH pool, a radio service chain (RSC). The RSC is coupled to the fronthaul network and the RRH pool for allocating the RRH resources. The RSC comprises an orchestrator and a remote radio head (RRH) controller. The orchestrator is used for receiving a radio resource request from the at least one C-RAN and converting the radio resource request into a RRH specific command. The RRH controller is used for slicing the RRH resources to create virtual RRHs according to the radio resource request.

  • Patent number: 9645748
Abstract: A method and system for transmission path optimization in an Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) storage area network architecture comprises a storage device downloading input/output (I/O) profiles from an SAN Software Defined Network (SDN) application and a host computer connected to the storage device via various transmission paths, to access a first virtual disk. The storage device analyzes iSCSI packets in the first virtual disk, and calculates I/O data of the first virtual disk and updated I/O data (for second I/O profile) at time intervals. The storage device can determine to change the first I/O profile of the first virtual disk as against the second I/O profile and the SAN SDN application can command an SDN controller to optimize the transmission path between the host computer and the first virtual disk by making the change, based on comparisons against the second I/O profile.

  • Patent number: 8891101
Abstract: A printer is communicatively connected to a terminal and a slave. The printer creates a secure printing group, and allows the terminal and slave to join the secure printing group. The terminal generates a print job, and sends the print job to the printer. The printer generates a first inspection message according to the print job, and sends the first inspection message to the terminal. The terminal selects the slave as a printing delegate, and sends a message that is derived at least in part from the first inspection message to the slave. The slave sends a second inspection message to the printer, wherein the second inspection message is derived at least in part from the message sent from to the terminal to the slave, and requests the printer to execute the print job. The printer executes the print job when the second inspection message matches the first inspection message.

  • Patent number: 7444167
Abstract: The present invention discloses a dual-band RF transceiver. The transceiver comprises a first module, used as the RF front-end of the dual-band transceiver and used for receiving and transmitting a first RF signal and a second RF signal; a second module, electrically connected to the first module, used as the IF IQ modulator/demodulator of the dual-band RF transceiver; a third module, electrically connected to the first and the second modules, used as the tripe-band phase-locked frequency synthesizer of the dual-band RF transceiver and used for providing a first local oscillating signal and a second local oscillating signal to the first module, and a third local oscillating signal to the second module. The dual-band RF transceiver according to the present invention realizes the dual-band triple-mode operation of IEEE802.11 a/b/g by a single dual-band RF module, and therefore the circuit size, power dissipation, component count, and cost can be dramatically reduced.
