Abstract: An electrical card connector includes a housing defining a front insertion opening, one or a number of terminal sets, a tray insertable through the front insertion opening into the housing and having one or a number of card-carrying portions, a recess, a stop wall at one side of the recess, a pin hole and a pin guide formed between the recess and the insertion hole, an elastic member, and an elastic interference device mounted in the housing and extending to the accommodation chamber for interfering with the recess and stopping against the stop wall and having an actuation portion. The elastic interference device is forced away from the recess and the stop wall for enabling the tray to be ejected out of the housing by the elastic member upon insertion of an insertion pin into the pin hole to push the actuation portion.

Abstract: A low profile design of multi-in-one card connector includes a base frame having two upright sidewalls and a guide groove at the front side of each upright sidewall and defining a front insertion opening, multiple terminal sets mounted in the base frame, two limiter blocks vertically movably mounted in the guide grooves of the upright sidewalls each having a top stop flange and a bottom stop flange, at least one of the top and bottom stop flanges of each limiter block being held in the front insertion opening to prohibit insertion of a second memory card after insertion of a first memory card, and two elastic members supporting the limiter blocks in an upper limit position.

Abstract: A card connector, which may secure a card inserted therein, includes a housing, a sliding block and a lock hook. The housing includes a substrate with a slot. The sliding block is received in the slot for reciprocation along the slot. The lock hook includes a main member, a curved fixing piece projected from a rear of the main member and a curved lock portion projected upwardly from a front of the main member. The substrate has a protrusion at a second side thereof adjacent to the fixing terminal portion and a front space and a rear space at opposite sides of the protrusion. The main member of the lock hook is on the protrusion. The present invention may secure the card inserted therein firmly and is thinner and more flexible in space design.

Abstract: A drawer-type card connector is composed of a base, a cover member, an ejecting device, a slide member, a left card-fastening device, and a right card-fastening device. The base includes a bottom plate. The slide member is slidably mounted in the base, including a top plate, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall. A receiving chamber is formed among the bottom plate of the base and the top plate, the left sidewall, and the right sidewall of the slide member, for receiving the inserted card. The left and right card-fastening devices are pivotably mounted at two sides of a front end of the slide member respectively and each have a fastening piece. When the card is inserted fully, the two fastening pieces hold two sides of a rear end edge of the card respectively, such that the left and right card-fastening devices fail to bounce outward and thus firmly hold the card inside the card connector.

Abstract: A drawer-type card connector is composed of a base, a cover member, a slide member, a card-fastening device. The base includes a bottom plate. The slide member is slidably mounted in the base, including a top plate, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall. A receiving chamber for receiving the inserted card is formed among the bottom plate, the top plate, the left sidewall, and the right sidewall. The card-fastening device includes two pivot members pivotably connected with the slide member, a prop mounted between the two pivot members and parallel to the bottom plate for pivoting downward, and at least one stop portion extending from the prop. When the card is inserted fully, the prop supports the card, the at least one stop portion stops against the card, and the bottom plate supports the prop, thus effectively preventing the card from disengagement from the card connector.
