Patent number: 11635854Abstract: A touch display screen includes a display panel, a touch-sensing part, a biosensor and a controller. The touch-sensing part is disposed on a light emitting side of the display panel and has a touch-sensing surface. The touch-sensing part includes a light-emitting device and a light receiver. The light-emitting device is used to provide at least one positioning light and at least one high-energy light. The light receiver is used to detect a change of the positioning light on the touch-sensing surface in response to a touch action and determine the position on which the touch action occurs on the touch-sensing surface. The biosensor is used to determine whether a living body getting close to the touch-sensing surface. The controller is used to drive the light-emitting device to selectively provide the positioning light and/or the high-energy light to the touch-sensing surface according to the determinations of the biosensor.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2022Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignee: BenQ CorporationInventors: Chin-Jui Chi, Pei-Wen Huang, Ta-Wei Liu

Patent number: 11586350Abstract: A cursor controlling method includes: A starting position on which a touch signal triggered by an object on the touch panel is detected, and a starting coordinate of the starting position is calculated; a cursor is display at a first coordinate on a display screen corresponding to the starting coordinate. A first vector of the object moving from the starting position to a first steering position on the touch panel is detected. The cursor is moved along a first moving vector corresponding to the first vector, with a first speed on the display screen, until the object is stopped on a first steering position of the touch panel, to make the cursor ended up at a first virtual position having a first virtual coordinate. The cursor is shifted from the first virtual coordinate to a second coordinate on the display screen and corresponding to the first steering position.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2021Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Assignee: BenQ CorporationInventor: Chin-Jui Chi

Patent number: 11016714Abstract: A multi-screen splicing structure has a plurality of display devices. Each display device includes a display panel, a plurality of transceivers, a wireless communications module, and a control circuit. Each transceiver has a transmitting component and a receiving component. The control circuit is coupled to the display panel, the transceivers and the wireless communications module, and is used to turn on the wireless communications module when the control circuit determines that another display device is approaching based on a status of signals received by the receiving components of the transceivers to enable the wireless communications module performing wireless communications with a wireless communications module of another display device. The control circuit may also control an orientation of an image relative to the display panel according to the status of signals received by the receiving components of the transceivers of the display device.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2020Date of Patent: May 25, 2021Assignees: BENQ CORPORATIONInventors: Chin-Jui Chi, Ta-Wei Liu, Pei-Wen Huang
