  • Publication number: 20060279210
Abstract: A tungsten-filament bulb includes a filament set inside a housing. At least two magnesium-plated filaments of the filament extend through a stem of the housing. A tip of the housing forms a minute orifice for evacuating air from the housing to create a vacuum. A light cap is secured below a stem of the housing. The light cap includes an electrical contact base electrically connected to the magnesium-plated filaments of the filament set. With a design of the above-mentioned orifice in the tip of the housing, a conventional manufacturing defect of a deformation can be avoided when fabricating the housing with a column together by heating.

  • Patent number: 7132793
Abstract: A filament assembly for a twinkling bulb has first and second magnesium-plated filaments, a glass bead, a fuse and a tungsten filament. The second magnesium-plated filament is parallel to the first magnesium-plated filament and has a stop section and a flexible metal tongue. The stop section is formed on the second magnesium-plated filament. The flexible metal tongue is mounted on the second magnesium-plated filament above the stop section. When the twinkling bulb is electrified, the flexible metal tongue touches the first magnesium-plated filament intermittently and causes the twinkling bulb to twinkle.

  • Publication number: 20060181874
Abstract: A decorative bulb has a body, a transparent adhesive layer and a nonwoven coating. The transparent adhesive layer is applied to and covers the body. The nonwoven coating is applied on and covers the transparent adhesive layer to decorate the body and is easily applied to the transparent adhesive layer. When the bulb is bumped, the transparent adhesive layer and the nonwoven coating keep the bulb from being broken.
