  • Publication number: 20120228858
Abstract: The fender is formed with a plurality of Y-shaped protrusions on the side facing the wheel. The Y-shaped protrusions are longitudinally arranged in a row. Each of the Y-shaped protrusions is composed of a vee and a vertical. The vee opens towards the direction of forward rotation of the wheel. The water thrown by the wheel will be guided by the verticals of the Y-shaped protrusions first, and then split by the vee to obliquely flow out of the fender.

  • Publication number: 20120167711
Abstract: A clipless pedal with a modularized engagement mechanism for detachably securing with the cleat on a rider's shoe is disclosed. The engagement structure includes a fixing seat, an annular frame, a depressor, two torsion springs, a shaft and a regulator bolt. The fixing seat is pivotally connected on the annular frame by inserting the shaft. The two torsion springs are put around the shaft. The depressor has a threaded hole in which the regulator bolt screws. By rotating the regulator bolt, the depressor can be linearly moved. Two ends of each the torsion separately bear against the fixing seat and depressor. The annular frame can be swung relative to the fixing seat when it is forced and restored by the torque from the torsion springs when it is not forced. The torque of the torsion springs can be regulated by linear movement of the depressor. The engagement mechanism can be fastened on a pedal body to form a clipless pedal.

  • Patent number: 7856905
Abstract: A pedal for a bicycle includes pedal body, and at least one locking hook unit detachably mounted on the pedal body. The locking hook unit includes a fixing hook and a movable hook. Thus, the locking hook unit is locked onto the pedal body by a plurality of locking bolts to assemble the pedal, so that the pedal is assembled and disassembled easily and quickly, thereby facilitating a user assembling and disassembling the pedal. In addition, the locking hook unit has a hollow inside so that after the locking hook unit is attached to the pedal body, the spindle of the pedal body will not be obstructed by the locking hook unit to prevent the mud from being choked between the locking hook unit and the spindle of the pedal body.

  • Patent number: 7752777
Abstract: A shoe sole includes a sole bottom portion and an enclosure integrally formed on a periphery of the sole bottom portion. The sole bottom portion forms a hard zone that is made of a carbon fiber composite material mixed with a thermosetting epoxy. The enclosure forms a soft zone that is made of a carbon fiber composite material mixed with a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Thus, the shoe sole has a reinforced strength by provision of the enclosure so that the shoe sole is bonded onto the vamp solidly and stably, thereby enhancing the combination strength between the shoe sole and the vamp. In addition, the shoe sole has a light weight and greater hardness by provision of the sole bottom portion, thereby decreasing the weight of the whole shoe.

  • Publication number: 20080229876
Abstract: A foldable pedal includes an inner pedal body, an outer pedal body provided with a receiving chamber and a receiving channel, a biasing mechanism including a resting bar and a compression spring, and a stop member movably mounted in the receiving channel and provided with a through hole that is movable to align with the receiving chamber to allow passage of the resting bar. Thus, the outer pedal body is locked on the inner pedal body by an interlocking action of the resting bar and the stop member, so that the compression spring biased between the outer pedal body and the resting bar needs not to have a higher strength, and a user only needs to apply a little force to compress the compression spring so as to fold the foldable pedal easily and conveniently.
