  • Publication number: 20140192189
Abstract: An automatic sensing lamp capable of network transmission and long-distance surveillance/remote-control audio-video operations is provided for use with a computer or mobile phone. A network connector or wireless transceiver unit of an image-processing IC of the sensing lamp is connected via the Internet to a connection port of a long-distance surveillance/remote-control computer or to a mobile phone. After a software driver is activated, a username and a password built in the image-processing IC are input. When an image-sensing camera unit detects movement of a target, a light-emitting device emits light and a loudspeaker generates sounds to produce a warning and intimidating effect. Images and sounds currently taken by the image-sensing camera unit are transmitted by the image-processing IC to the computer or mobile phone for displaying and playing. The image-sensing camera unit and the light-emitting device can be turned by remote control by the computer or mobile phone.

  • Publication number: 20060268556
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) shade is used with an LED and has an opening, a concave cavity and multiple brackets. The concave cavity is defined in the LED shade, communicates with the openings and has an inner surface and multiple annular sets of convex mirrors formed coaxially on the inner surface. The brackets are formed on the outer surface. The multiple annular sets of convex mirrors efficiently reflect the light radiated by the LED mounted in the shade in an appropriate direction. The LED with the LED shade concentrates illumination.

  • Patent number: 6663248
Abstract: A driving circuit for LED lamps includes a DC power unit, a control unit connected to a bank of LEDs, and a backup power unit. The DC power unit outputs DC power to the control unit, the bank of LEDs, and the backup power unit. When DC power from the DC power unit is interrupted, the backup power unit outputs DC power to the bank of LEDs. The driving circuit may be incorporated into various lamp types, including wall lamps, indicator lamps, and emergency lamps.

  • Publication number: 20030197477
Abstract: A driving circuit for LED lamps has a DC power unit, a control unit connected to LEDs and a backup power unit. The DC power unit outputs DC power to the control unit, the LEDs and the backup power unit. When the DC power unit does not output DC power, the battery outputs DC power to continue to drive the LEDs. Therefore the driving circuit can be used with any type of lamp such as a wall lamp, an inductive lamp and an emergency lamp.

  • Patent number: 6404079
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-purpose control device with a remote controller and a sensor. The multi-purpose control device includes a detecting body, a remote controller for controlling the detecting body, and a receiver connected to a light. The detecting body is positioned at an entry way to form a sensing region, thereby the detecting body is not only able to receive a remote control signal emitted from the remote controller but also to sense human bodies entering the sensing region. After the detecting body receives the remote control signal or senses a human body entering the sensing region, the detecting body emits a signal to the receiver to actuate a light. The control device does not require reconfiguration of wiring. The present invention can sense a human body entering a sensing region in the dark to actuate a light automatically. The remote controller associated with the detecting body can provide multiple remote functions, including a lux level setting and a time setting.
