  • Patent number: 9442581
Abstract: A touch pen includes a sleeve, a contact element, a sensing device and a buffering element. The contact element is penetrated through the sleeve and movably relative to the sleeve. The sensing device is disposed within the sleeve. The buffering element is disposed within the sleeve. The contact element and the sensing device are separated from each other by the buffering element. While the contact element is moved in response to an external force applied to touch pen, the impact of the contact element on the sensing device is largely reduced because the contact element and the sensing device are separated from each other by the buffering element. Moreover, since the external force is received by the buffering element, the sensing device can be protected by the buffering element. Consequently, the failure probability of the touch pen is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20120086641
Abstract: A multi-mode foldable mouse includes a main body, a cover, a sensing device and a controller. A first touch panel is disposed on the main body. A second touch panel is disposed on the cover. The sensing device is used for sensing a position of the main body relative to the cover. The controller is used for controlling the mouse to be operated in either a multi-touch mode or a keyboard mode according to the position of the main body relative to the cover. When the mouse in operated in the multi-touch mode, the first touch panel is enabled, and a multi-finger inputting operation on the first touch panel is converted into an image control instruction. When the mouse in operated in a keyboard mode, a virtual standard keyboard is shown on the first touch panel in cooperation with the second touch panel for providing a function of inputting characters.

  • Publication number: 20090200099
Abstract: An electric power steering control system for a vehicle that has a steering device coupled by a steering assembly to at least one tire steered by the steering device. The control system controls a current in a motor for generating torque applied to the steering assembly. The control system comprises a feed-forward component that generates a torque target signal representative of the torque applied by the motor to the steering assembly. The torque target signal is proportional to a multiplication of a steering torque from the steering device. There is also a sensor component that senses the motor current and provides a motor current signal. A motor control component receives the torque target signal and the sensed motor signal. The motor current signal is driven towards a value wherein the torque target signal is equal to a multiplication factor of the motor current signal.
