    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a complex probiotic composition and a method for improving exercise performance of a subject with low intrinsic aerobic exercise capacity. The complex probiotic composition, which includes Lactobacillus rhamnosus GKLC1, Bifidobacterium lactis GKK24 and Clostridium butyricum GKB7, administered to the subject with the low intrinsic aerobic exercise capacity in a continuation period, can effectively reduce serum lactic acid and serum urea nitrogen after aerobic exercise, reduce proportion of offal fat and/or increase liver and muscle glycogen contents, thereby being as an effective ingredient for preparation of various compositions.

    Abstract: A method for predicting clinical severity of a neurological disorder includes steps of: a) identifying, according to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image of a brain, brain image regions each of which contains a respective portion of diffusion index values of a diffusion index, which results from image processing performed on the MRI image; b) for one of the brain image regions, calculating a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values; and c) calculating a severity score that represents the clinical severity of the neurological disorder of the brain based on the characteristic parameter of the one of the brain image regions via a prediction model associated with the neurological disorder.

    Abstract: A contact switch assembly includes a first conductor body which has a leg portion and a U-shaped mounting unit with upward first and second mounting arms and a connecting portion that interconnects the first and second mounting arms. The first and second mounting arms have transverse retaining grooves at opposing outer sides thereof. A movable contact arm includes an elongated contact plate which has a longitudinal opening and which is sleeved around the first and second mounting arms via the opening. The contact plate further has first and second inner edges at two longitudinally opposing ends of the opening. The first inner edge engages the retaining groove of the first mounting arm. A curved spring plate has a first end engaging the retaining groove of the second mounting arm, and a second end engaging the second inner edge so as to bias the second inner edge upward.

    Abstract: A common conductor unit for a contact switch includes a conductor body and a movable contact arm. The conductor body includes a U-shaped mounting unit that has upright first and second arm mounting portions and an elongated horizontal connecting portion which interconnects lower end edges of the arm mounting portions. Each of the arm mounting portions has one side which is opposite to the other one of the arm mounting portions and which is formed with a respective horizontal retaining groove. The contact arm is formed as an elongated plate and has a first end portion and a second end portion which is provided with a spring extension unit that extends toward the first end portion. One of the mounting unit and the contact arm is formed with a longitudinal opening to permit extension of the other one of the mounting unit and the contact arm when the contact arm is moved upwardly relative to the conductor body.
