  • Publication number: 20060116784
Abstract: The present invention provides an Intelligent Engineering Data Analysis (I-EDA) system and method to help prevent low wafer yield and prevent occurrences of abnormal events. The I-EDA has a non-conforming wafer tracing (NCWT) system that operates to correlate occurrences of abnormal events with low wafer yield. The method generally has the steps of performing a fabrication operation on wafers disposed within a wafer lot; determining if an abnormal event occurred while performing the fabrication operation on the wafers disposed within the wafer lot; using a NCWT to determine a statistical correlation between an occurrence of an abnormal event and a wafer yield of the wafers being processed during the occurrence of the abnormal event if the abnormal event occurred during processing of the wafers disposed within the wafer lot; and using the determined statistical correlation to analyze the fabrication process and thereby improve wafer yield.

  • Publication number: 20050237738
Abstract: A flashlight includes a conductive casing, a lamp seat holder, a reflector, a dielectric body, and a lamp seat. The lamp seat holder defines a receiving space, and has an inner end inserted into one end of the casing and an outer end extending outwardly from the casing. The reflector has one end inserted threadedly into the outer end of the lamp seat holder. The dielectric body is fitted in the inner end of the lamp seat holder, and holds a pair of electrode elements. The lamp seat is disposed within the lamp seat holder between the dielectric body and the reflector.

  • Patent number: 6766179
Abstract: A layout of five stroke shapes for inputting Chinese characters in a device is disclosed. The layout is Cross-shaped with relative positions of the five strokes being helpful to users knowledgeable in Chinese writing. Further, the layout arrangement is accompanied with a lyric which helps users remember and memorize the locations of the five strokes on the keypad. The relative locations of the five strokes are: Pie at the left of the cross, Dian at the right, Heng at the top, Zhe at the bottom, and Shu at the center. The lyric describes the shapes of the strokes and the relative locations of the strokes in the Cross-shaped configuration. For example, the lyric may be “left slash, right gash, upper over, lower turn with one down in the middle.” The lyric may have a tune to become a song and may be burned in a ROM of a device, such as a mobile phone.

  • Patent number: 6612715
Abstract: A flashlight includes a conductive barrel, a lamp unit and a tail cap switch. The tail cap switch includes a tail cap member, a push button member movable relative to the tail cap member, a conductive biasing member, and a contact blocking member to control the moving range of the push button member. In practice, the tail cap member is adjustable relative to the barrel to one of a normally closed position, a normally open position, and a switch on/off position between the normally closed position and the normally open position.

  • Publication number: 20030078777
Abstract: An accurate speech recognition system operable for hand-held devices having relatively low computational power and memory requirements, low power consumption, simple operating systems, low weight and low cost. This invention provides accurate speech recognition for electronic devices with low processing power and limited memory storage capability. Basic accuracy is achieved by the utilization of specialized and/or individualized dictionary databases comprising several thousand words appropriate for specific uses such as website locating and professional/commercial lexicons. Further accuracy is achieved by first recognizing individual words and then matching aggregations of those words with word string databases. Still further accuracy is achieved by the use of processors and databases that are located at the telecommunications sites. Almost total accuracy is achieved by a scrolling selection system of candidate words.

  • Patent number: 6296371
Abstract: A flashlight includes a conductive barrel, a tubular tail cap member, and a tail cap switch assembly. The barrel has a threaded rear end portion with a contact end face. The tail cap member is sleeved threadedly on the rear end portion, and has an open rear portion formed with a radial inward annular flange that is spaced apart from the contact end face. The switch assembly includes a push button cap made from an insulator material and having a contact support portion disposed in the tail cap member between the annular flange and the contact end face. A cap engaging portion extends rearwardly from the contact support portion and through the annular flange, and is in sliding engagement with the annular flange. A conductive contact member is disposed on the contact support portion. An operating portion is formed on a rear end of the cap engaging portion, and is operable from the open rear portion so as to move the push button cap to move the contact member to contact the contact end face.
