Abstract: A method for message management for an audio storage device. The audio storage device includes first segment for storing address information, second segment for storing prerecorded audio data, third segment for storing voice macro scripts, fourth segment for storing user data and reserved messages, and fifth segment for storing audio messages. Address information of the prerecorded audio data and the voice macro script is stored in the first segment. Address information of the audio message is stored in the fourth segment. The method includes receiving an index to a voice macro script, which includes one or more voice macro commands. The method including accessing the first segment of the audio storage device for information related to a starting location of the voice macro script in the third segment. The method retrieves a voice macro command in the third segment; and performs an action related to the retrieved voice macro command.

Abstract: A wrist-worn monitor for heartbeat detection includes a detecting device provided on a belt. The detecting device comprises a first detecting element on one side and a pair of second detecting elements on another side. When the belt is worn on a wrist of a user, the first detecting element will be in touch with a wrist of a user while the user presses the second detecting elements with two fingers of another hand to get the reading of his/her heartbeat.

Abstract: Message management methods and apparatus for managing messages in a multi-message audio recording and playback system with a memory device having first and second storage ends comprising storing successive messages sequentially in the memory device, allowing the controllable erasing of only the oldest message or the newest message still stored in the memory device, the erasing of messages freeing respective parts of the memory device for the recording of further messages, and when reaching the first end of the memory device while recording a message, continuing to record the message starting at the first end of the memory device.

Abstract: A wireless self-adhesive heartbeat detector includes two terminals with one positive pole and one negative pole. The detector comprises a glue layer to attach to a human body so as to measure the heartbeat of the person. This design does not use any traditional string or tape, thus the user does not have any uncomfortable feeling.

Abstract: A static eliminator adapted to an instrument panel of a motorized treadmill to eliminate static for the runner on the treadmill without having to wear any anti-static gear includes an ion generator and a fan. The ion generator is disposed behind the fan to alternatively generate cations and anions. The fan blows the ion current bearing-cations and anions to the runner for eliminating static by ion neutralization.
