Abstract: A snap hook includes a body, a gate, a lock and a security device. The body includes an opening and a cutout. The gate is pivotally connected to the body between a closing position to close the opening and an opening position to open the opening. The lock is pivotally connected to the body between a locking position to avoid pivoting of the gate into the opening position and a releasing position to allow the gate to pivot into the opening position. The security device includes a switch movably located on the lock between two positions and a tongue extending from the switch. In the first position of the switch, the tongue abuts the body to avoid pivoting of the lock into the releasing position. In the second position of the switch, the tongue is allowed to enter the cutout to allow the lock to pivot into the releasing position.

Abstract: A snap hook is equipped with an arched body, a gate, a trigger and a shield. The arched body includes an opening defined between two ends thereof. The gate is pivoted to close and open the opening of the arched body. The trigger is pivoted to lock and release the gate. The shield is used for protecting the trigger.

Abstract: A hook-pulley combination includes a hook, a latch and a pulley assembly. The hook includes an intermediate portion extending between two arched portions. The first arched portion is formed with two supporting portions. There is a gap between an end of the first arched portion and an end of the second arched portion. The latch includes an end pivotally connected to the end of the first arched portion and another end for engagement with the end of the second arched portion to close the gap. The pulley assembly includes an axle supported on the supporting portions and a pulley supported on the axle.

Abstract: A template-based multimedia editor and editing method are disclosed. The editor includes a template module, a material database, a converting mechanism, and a user interface. The template module has an interactive area and at least one template element. The template module includes at least one adjustable template parameter and the template element has at least one adjustable template element parameter. The material database has at least one material data including at least one adjustable material parameter. The converting mechanism is adapted to process a predetermined algorithm. The user interface provides a preview area for a user to edit the template module and material data.
