  • Patent number: 8310631
Abstract: In this disclosure, a blue colorant is added in the adhesion layer of a reflective polarizer to compensate the chromaticity difference caused by the reflective polarizer itself and large horizontal viewing angle. The chromaticity difference can be further reduced by adding beads in the adhesion layer and/or forming light-gathering microstructures on the outer surface of the quarter wave plate of the reflective polarizer.

  • Publication number: 20100026934
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a light uniforming polarization recycling film comprising a cholesteric liquid crystal layer having a first optical surface and a second optical surface; an optical support formed on the first optical -surface; and alight scattering layer formed on the second optical surface. The light scattering layer includes a ΒΌ wavelength (quarter wave) plate and a microstructure layer having light diffusing characteristics. The light uniforming polarization recycling film according to the present invention can facilitate the elimination of chromaticity difference with respect to different visual angles and enhance the brightness of the polarizing film of recycling light.

  • Publication number: 20090264572
Abstract: A coating composition comprises a resin, an antistatic agent and an antistatic aid, wherein the antistatic aid is selected from a group consisting of a siloxane compound, a fluoro-compound and a combination thereof. The antistatic aid can generate a synergy effect with the antistatic agent, and carry the antistatic agent out of the coating surface, thus can obviously reduce the amount of antistatic agent to achieve the desired antistatic effect by using a small amount of antistatic aid. The coating composition can be applied to various products with antistatic needs.
