The electrorheological fluid within the housing may then be subjected to a sub-atmospheric pressure. Subsequently, the interior volume may be sealed relative to an exterior of the housing.

Abstract: A sole structure may include chambers and a transfer channel containing an electrorheological fluid. Electrodes may be positioned to create, in response to a voltage across the electrodes, an electrical field in at least a portion of the electrorheological fluid in the transfer channel. The sole structure may further include a controller including a processor and memory. At least one of the processor and memory may store instructions executable by the processor to perform operations that include maintaining the voltage across the electrodes at one or more flow-inhibiting levels at which flow of the electrorheological fluid the through the transfer channel is blocked, and that further include maintaining the voltage across the electrodes at one or more flow-enabling levels permitting flow of the electrorheological fluid through the transfer channel.

Abstract: A remote alarm method, including the following steps: during a predetermined time, at least one of the wireless remote alarm devices sends a push signal including the corresponding representative data; the processor analyzes the output, and suppose the corresponding representative data is not included, then the corresponding representative data will be added therein and the wireless push transmitter will be driven to continuously send the updated push signal including the added corresponding representative data; when the main alarm device receives the updated push signal, the processor thereof compares it with all of the corresponding representative data in the closed group to check the inclusion of each corresponding representative data in the closed group; and in case of lacking any corresponding representative data, the alarm indicator can be driven to send an alarm signal.

Abstract: A lock/unlock method in conjunction with a near field wireless transmission device which is applicable to a lock toolset, wherein the near field wireless transmission device includes a transmitter and a processor driving the transmitter to continuously transmit a predetermined wireless activation signal, and the lock toolset includes a controller, a memory recording an authentication code, a receiver for receiving said wireless activation signal, and an anti-theft lock driven to be opened by the instruction of the controller. The lock/unlock method includes the steps of: a) receiving the predetermined wireless activation signal by means of the receiver and converting it into an electric signal output; b) receiving the electric signal output by means of the controller and verifying it with the authentication code recorded in the memory; and c) instructing to drive the anti-theft lock to open in case the controller confirms a predetermined condition is satisfied.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a housing, and a light-emitting module mounted in an accommodation chamber inside the housing and carrying a set of light-emitting devices on a circuit board thereof for emitting light, a plurality of refracting prisms for refracting a part of the light emitted by the light-emitting devices horizontally toward two opposing sides through the light transmissive peripheral wall of the top cover shell of the housing and two opposing double-beveled reflectors for reflecting the other part of the light emitted by the light-emitting devices toward the outside through the light transmissive peripheral wall of the top cover shell of the housing in the same opposing directions. Thus, the invention extends the luminous range of the light-emitting devices, enhances the luminance and reduces light loss.

The illumination system provides a visible beam and an invisible beam. The beam splitting element is disposed in transmission paths of the visible and invisible beams. After the visible and invisible beams leave the beam splitting element, the optical axes of the visible and invisible beams are separated from each other. The second dichroic unit is disposed in the transmission paths of the visible and invisible beams from the beam splitting element. The visible beam passes through the second dichroic unit, and the invisible beam is reflected by the second dichroic unit. The light valve is disposed in the transmission path of the visible beam from the second dichroic unit and converts the visible beam into an image beam. The image beam passes through the second dichroic unit.

The first reflector and the second reflector reflect the third beam and the fourth beam, respectively. The light uniforming element is disposed on transmission paths of the reflected third beam and the reflected fourth beam.
