  • Publication number: 20100155256
Abstract: A trivalent chromium electroplating solution in accordance with the present invention contains at least one trivalent chromium salt for electroplating a chromium coating layer on a workpiece. By using the low toxic trivalent chromium to substitute highly toxic hexavalent chromium, an electroplating process of the present trivalent chromium electroplating solution has less pollution.

  • Publication number: 20090302003
Abstract: An aqueous solution for polishing and deburring includes pure water; carboxylic acid of 200 gram per liter to 300 gram per liter; sulfuric acid ions of 200 gram per liter to 500 gram per liter; phosphoric acid ions of 100 gram per liter to 300 gram per liter; and nitric acid ions of 50 gram per liter to 200 gram per liter. Also, a process for polishing and deburring a part made of pure nickel or nickel-200 in the solution includes removing oily substance from the part; washing the part by water; pouring the solution into a bath and submerging the part in the solution so that the part is brought into contact with the solution; neutralizing the solution remained on the surface of the part to prevent the part from oxidizing; and drying the part to obtain a finished part.

  • Publication number: 20090211914
Abstract: A trivalent chromium-based electroplating solution in accordance with the present invention a trivalent chromium salt, a bivalent nickel salt, a complex agent, a conductive salt, a buffering agent and an additive for electroplating a chromium-nickel alloy deposit on a component. By using the lowly toxic trivalent chromium to substitute highly toxic hexavalent chromium, an electroplating procedure with the present trivalent chromium-based electroplating solution has less pollution and high current efficiency to allow the electroplating performing at the room temperature.

  • Publication number: 20080156653
Abstract: A pre-treating solution for electroplating magnesium alloy surface contains copper ions, a complexing agent and an additive, wherein the complexing agent is selected from potassium sodium tartrate, potassium tartrate, sodium tartrate, tartaric acid, and dissolvable salts derivative from tartaric acid and the additive is selected from sodium phosphate, sodium hypophosphite, phosphoric acid and dissolvable salts derivative from phosphoric acid or hypophosphite acid. The magnesium alloy is dipped in the pre-treating solution and electroplated with a copper coating layer. Then, the magnesium alloy is further dipped in a copper sulfate solution for thickening the copper coating layer and lastly coated with an anti-corrosion metal layer. Thereby, magnesium alloy has excellent anti-corrosion and anti-wearing efficiency and varnish appearance. Moreover, the pre-treating solution contains no cyanide and thus is low toxic and safe to operator during electroplating and to environment after discharging.

  • Publication number: 20080156652
Abstract: A pre-treating solution for electroplating zinc alloy surface contains copper ions, hydroxyl ions, a complexing agent and an additive, wherein the additive is selected from sodium phosphate, sodium hypophosphite, phosphoric acid and dissolvable salts of phosphoric acid. The zinc alloy is dipped in the pre-treating solution and electroplated with a copper coating layer. Then, the zinc alloy is further dipped in a copper sulfate solution for thickening the copper coating layer and lastly coated with an anti-corrosion metal layer. Thereby, zinc alloy has excellent anti-corrosion and anti-wearing efficiency and varnish appearance. Moreover, the pre-treating solution contains no cyanide and thus is low toxic and safe to operator during electroplating and to environment after discharging.

  • Patent number: 7160847
Abstract: A method for chemical etching is disclosed for taking away oxidized film and removing cut as well as punched edge burs of harden-treated carbon steel (SK3, SK4 and SK5). Thereby, the fillet edge of the cut section is achieved. An oxidized film with a thickness of several micrometers is formed when a cut and punched steel is quenched and tempered at high temperature. Due to high strength and hardness of the steel, the oxidized film and edge burs are difficult to be removed by mechanical grinding. Therefore, a suitable electrolyte composes of only a little chemical reagent and oxidizer in deionized water is used to remove the oxidized film and punched bur simultaneously using chemical etching method.

  • Patent number: 6179153
Abstract: A two-chamber container including an integrally injection-molded main body having an upward opened inner chamber and an downward opened outer chamber surrounding or below the inner chamber. The inner chamber has a first annular flange vertically upward extending along an outer periphery of its opening. The upward opening of the inner chamber may be selectively closed with an upper cover. The upper cover may be differently designed for the two-chamber container to provide different usage depending on actual need. But the upper cover always includes a second annular flange vertically downward extending along an inner periphery thereof, such that the second annular flange is tightly fitted in the first annular flange when the upper cover is closed into the upward opening of the inner chamber of the main body. A bottom plate is plastically welded to the downward opening of the outer chamber, so that a dual-liquid and floating ornaments may be contained in the outer chamber for display and decoration purpose.
