    Abstract: A pen incorporated with an illuminator in which the positive terminal of the illuminator is connected to the positive terminal of the battery through a first switch, which is controlled by a pen top, and the negative terminal of the illuminator is connected to the negative terminal of the battery through the refill and a second switch, which is controlled by an insulative sleeve, and therefore the the illuminator is turned on when the refill is extended out of the pen for writing and the pen top is switched to the ON position; the illuminator does no work when the refill is extended out of the pen for writing and the pen top is switched to the OFF position.
