  • Patent number: 6772224
Abstract: A method and system is provided for routing at least one message from one or more subscribers of a communications network in a network node, the network node having a plurality of processing cards (Pcards). First, at least one Pcard is designated to service messages from a predetermined set of subscribers. When receiving a message from a subscriber of the predetermined set, the Pcard that is designated for the subscriber is determined and the received message is routed to the determined Pcard. The Pcard also has an associated database containing profile information for the subscribers using the Pcard.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 22, 2001
Date of Patent: August 3, 2004
    Assignee: Spatial Communications Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: Lingli Kung, Chao-Yee Kuan, Lu Tian, Ching-Der Lin, Ghassan Naim, Seshagiri R. Madhavapeddy, Pardeep Kohli, Anuj Jain

  • Patent number: 6047059
Abstract: A method of processing transaction capabilities application part information in an intelligent network includes transmitting transaction capabilities application information from a first node in the intelligent network to a second node in the intelligent network and providing a transaction capabilities application part message definition having a plurality of messages and parameters defining a parameter structure for transaction capabilities application part communication. The method also includes accessing the transaction capabilities application part message definition to determine the parameter structure for the provided transaction capabilities application part information and, in response to the content of the transaction capabilities application part information and the parameter structure, executing an executable algorithm operable to process transaction capabilities application part messages having the parameter structure defined by the transaction capabilities application part definition.

  • Patent number: 5974252
Abstract: A method of implementing a transaction capabilities application part application protocol for transaction capabilities application part communication includes providing a transaction capabilities application part message definition. The method also includes generating a plurality of service independent building blocks to form a service logic program associated with transaction capabilities application part communication. At least one of the plurality of service independent building blocks associates a plurality of leaf-node parameters with respective variables in the at least one service independent building block. The leaf-node parameters are specified by fully qualified names derived from the transaction capabilities application part message definition. The method also includes creating an executable form of the service independent building blocks for execution.
