  • Publication number: 20040188878
Abstract: A cell bursting method of a plastic foam sheet includes steps of producing a foam sheet and carrying on vacuum cell bursting to the foam sheet. In the process of the vacuum cell bursting, air in the cells of the foam sheet inflates to expand their cell walls to a preset extent, and the instant when normal pressure recovers, the cell walls burst instantly due to rapid releasing of pressure, able to produce a plastic foam sheet having high flexibility, good permeability and excellent elasticity.

  • Publication number: 20040119185
Abstract: A method for manufacturing opened-cell plastic foams includes a plurality of steps including a step of mixing ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) or polyethylene resins (PE), a preset percentage of a blowing agent and a vulcanizing agent, pigment, aids agent, and hollow porcelain balls or hollow micro grains evenly, a step of placing the mixed material in a mold to proceed batch-foaming once or twice. And a step of opening the mold for instant foaming process can let a solid shell of the mixed material with porous chamber structure produce ruptured holes so that the finished product of plastic foams may have good airiness and soft flexibility.

  • Patent number: 6749782
Abstract: A forming method of a foam board includes a hard plastic top plate and a hard plastic bottom plate provided respectively on and under a foam board placed in a mold. In a forming process by heating, the peripheral edges of the hard plastic top and the bottom plate respectively bend downward and upward automatically and extend to stick on the peripheral side edge of the foam board and fusing and adhering with each other to make up an integral peripheral edge so as to elevate the rigidity and safety of the foam board and enable it endure grinding.

  • Publication number: 20030141628
Abstract: A molding method for protective equipment includes seven steps. A first step is to prepare a mold consisting of an upper and a lower mold respectively provided with a mold hole. A second step is to heat the mold to a preset first temperature. A third step is to place a plastic plate and a foam member in the mold. A fourth step is to move the upper mold nearer to the lower mold, and then close up the upper mold on the lower mold in a preset time for the two materials to melt. A fifth step is to heat the mold to a second temperature higher than the first temperature so that the outer surface of the two materials may melt. A sixth step is to cool the mold to a preset temperature to let the two materials cool to form a shape. The seventh step is to open the mold and take out a finished product.

  • Patent number: 6565522
Abstract: A massaging device comprises a base, a massaging member, and a cover. The base is provided with a basin for containing the cleansing lotion. The massaging member is rotatably mounted in the base such that the massaging member is partially submerged in the cleansing lotion. The cover is provided with an opening and is joined with the base such that the massaging member is partially jutted out of the cover via the opening. The massaging member is provided in the outer surface with a plurality of grooves and ridges, which dispense and apply the cleansing lotion to a body part being massaged by the massaging member in motion.

  • Patent number: 6348167
Abstract: A method for making a surfboard includes six steps of processes. The first step is to prepare and cut plastic plate material into a panel. The second step is to place it in a mold to hotly press to let the panel foam half. The third step is to take the half-foamed prototype out of the mold to let it continue to foam to expand. The fourth step is to place the fully foamed prototype in a baking device to heat it into an almost completed surfboard. The fifth step is to place it in a cooling mold to cool and harden to become a finished surfboard. The sixth step is to take the finished surfboard out of the cooling mold. Thus the method can shorten the time for making a surfboard and save material waste.

  • Patent number: 6071160
Abstract: A surfboard includes a board and a plate secured to the bottom of the board and formed by a foamable material. A reinforcing mesh is embedded in the plate and includes a number of mesh openings. The material for forming the plate is engaged into the mesh openings for allowing the reinforcing mesh to be solidly embedded in the plate and for greatly increasing the strength of the surfboard. The reinforcing mesh may be embedded in the lower portion of the plate or may includes a thickness equals to that of the plate or greater than that of the plate.

  • Patent number: 5851462
Abstract: A method for making a surfboard includes a foamable material sheet cut into a number of panels and disposed in a mold device for hot pressing the panels and for expanding the panels to a prototype having a volume about 6 to 10 times greater than that of the panels. The prototype is then hot-pressed again for further expanding the prototype to the surfboard having a volume about 2 to 3 times greater than that of the prototype. The mold cavity includes tapered peripheral portions for forming tapered sides and tapered nose and tapered tail for the surfboard.
