    Abstract: A method for controlling an electronic device and an electronic apparatus are provided. A position of the electronic apparatus in a spatial area is obtained. A scene of the spatial area where the electronic apparatus is located is displayed in a display unit. A position of a controllable target apparatus included in the scene is obtained by using the position of the electronic apparatus and searching in a target apparatus distribution database of the spatial area, and a relative position of the controllable target apparatus and the electronic apparatus is obtained. According to the obtained position of the controllable target apparatus, an apparatus image layer corresponding to the controllable target apparatus is displayed at a corresponding position of the scene. When the apparatus image layer receives an enabling signal, a controlling command is transmitted to the controllable target apparatus corresponding to the apparatus image layer.

    Abstract: A method for retrieving object information is applied to a portable electronic device and includes the following steps. A global position system (GPS) module receives a position signal to get GPS data. A magnetic sensing module senses magnetic field to get azimuth direction data. A touch input module inputs an event which is a movement moving from a touch position towards an object to get input direction data. A processing module gets angle difference data according to the azimuth direction information and the input direction information. The information of the corresponding object from a database according to the parameters of the GPS data is retrieved, and the parameters of the GPS data, the azimuth direction data and the angle difference data are used by the processing module.

    Abstract: A Chinese character input device and method thereof are described. The Chinese character input device includes a database, a touch panel and a processing module. The database stores multiple candidate characters, multiple initial consonants and multiple rhymes. Each candidate character is composed of at least one initial consonant and at least one rhyme. The touch panel displays a virtual keyboard including initial consonant virtual keys and rhyme virtual keys and receives a command. The command includes a touch on an initial consonant virtual key to determine an input initial consonant and a release at a rhyme virtual key to determine an input rhyme. The processing module is connected to the database and compares the input initial consonant and input rhyme with the initial consonants and rhymes in the database to generate at least one corresponding candidate character and displays the candidate character on the touch panel for selecting.
