  • Patent number: 10702662
Abstract: A syringe needle shield that includes a first part and a second part. The first part is connected to the second part by a pivotable first connection portion. The second part is pivotable on the first connection portion toward the first part, and a needle hub is clamped between the first and second parts. The first and second parts are securely connected to each other by the first snapping portion which cannot be unlocked from each other. The first part is connected to a needle shield by a flexible plate. The shield receives a push force from its back so as to move from a first position to a second position. When the shield is located at the second position, a restriction portion is fixedly engaged with an engaging portion.

  • Patent number: 9669169
Abstract: A syringe assembly includes a syringe, a locking element and a protective sleeve. The syringe includes a needle connected to a cylinder. The protective sleeve is located on and around the cylinder and movable from a first position into a second position. The protective sleeve only covers the cylinder in the first position. The protective sleeve covers the needle in the second position. The locking element is adapted to keep the protective sleeve in the first position in a resilient manner. The locking element is further adapted to keep the protective sleeve in the second position. That is, after the protective sleeve is moved to the second position, return of the protective sleeve to the first position is prevented by the locking element.

  • Publication number: 20170028138
Abstract: A safety syringe includes a barrel, a plunger, a socket, a connector and a needle. The plunger is inserted in the barrel. The connector is inserted in the socket. The needle is connected to the connector. The socket includes a conical internal face in contact with a conical external face of the connector, an annular internal rib inserted in an annular external groove of the connector, and an annular internal groove for receiving an anchoring ring of the connector, thus retaining the connector in the socket. The plunger is movable backward to draw medicine into the barrel via the needle. The plunger is movable forward to extrude the medicine from the barrel via the needle. As the plunger is in contact with the anchoring ring, a larger force can be used to push the connector and the needle further forward from the socket to detach the needle from the socket.
