  • Patent number: 8060238
Abstract: A method of calculating recovery commands for numerical controlled system that an upper controller provides position commands to a servo driver to drive a motor. A memory space is provided to store the position commands, and then a position matrix and a transformation matrix are read. Finally, the transformation matrix is multiplied by the position matrix to calculate the coefficients of a position polynomial and a plurality of position interpolations. In addition, a velocity polynomial and an acceleration polynomial can be calculated. Therefore, the position commands are calculated to recovery as a high-order differentiable continuous polynomial to synchronize the servo driver and the upper controller.

  • Patent number: 7268515
Abstract: A three-in-one AC servo drive includes a main console, a control module, a power module and a plurality of servo motors. A single drive can be connected to a plurality of motors. The power module and control module for the motors can be integrated to a single modular unit. Therefore, the redundant portion such as communication interface, display unit and I/O unit can be eliminated. The capacitor of the bus of the IGBT module can also be reduced, whereby the occupied space and cost can be reduced with less assembling time.

  • Patent number: 7180261
Abstract: A self-synchronous AC servo system is used for high-speed serial communication and has multiple axes control. The system includes a computer sending command to master axis drive and slave axis drive through a transmission line. The master axis drive and slave axis drive send interrupt request to the computer through the transmission line after receiving the command. Each drive will judge whether the command is for it self according to the interrupt request and stores a plurality of computer commands in queue. Each drive drives master axis motor or slave axis motor by the queued command synchronously according to a synchronous timing clock.

  • Patent number: 7057366
Abstract: A method for estimating load inertia and system for controlling motor speed using inverse model are provided, suitable for an alternating current (AC) servo module. An inverse system is connected to an actual system to inversely deduce a substantial torque output, wherein when the value of the speed signal generated by the actual system gradually increases, a net inertia ratio is accumulated; whereas when the value of the speed signal generated by the actual system increases to a fixed value, the net inertia ratio is updated.

  • Patent number: 6789023
Abstract: A method of instant estimation of the rotor inertia of a load motor is disclosed. The adaptive filter accompanied with the Least Mean Square Rule is introduced to instantly estimate the rotor inertia of a load motor. One input of the adaptive filter is the current signal of a model motor whose rotor inertia is known, and the other is the deviation current signal between the model motor and the drive motor. Once the two inputs are determined, the rotor inertia of the load motor will then be calculated using the Least Mean Square Rule and the adaptive filter.
