Abstract: The present disclosure provides a nucleic acid fragment, a pharmaceutical composition, and a therapeutic process for treating a subject having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Especially, the nucleic acid fragment, the pharmaceutical composition, and the therapeutic process are therapeutic-efficient for treating pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema of the subject, as demonstrated in this disclosure.

Abstract: An oil pump system is provided for a motorcycle, and includes at least one oil pump, a water pump, a drive shaft, a support frame, a drive gear, and an oil collector lid. The oil pump is supported by a crankshaft case and is coupled to the drive shaft. The drive shaft has an end section on which the drive gear is mounted. The drive gear is coupled to a crankshaft of an engine by a chain. The oil collector lid is arranged outside the drive gear. The water pump is coupled to the end of the drive shaft. Mechanical power is transmitted from the crankshaft, through the chain, to drive the drive gear and the drive shaft to also drive the water pump. The support frame is provided to rotatably support the drive shaft at a location spaced from the oil pump so as to form an enhanced support to the drive shaft and improve stability of operation and durability of the drive shaft.

Abstract: A multi-layer structure unit of recording AV frame data includes a general control layer, a task control layer and a movie-format control layer. The general control layer is used to control a compression process of AV frame data, and manage a circular queue. The task control layer includes a plurality of control units, and is used to execute the necessary task of recording AV frame data with accessing the circular queue. Finally, the movie-format control layer is used for building a file with AV frame data. Hence, the multi-layer structure unit of recording AV frame data can improve the extensibility, the maintenance and the readability of software program.

Abstract: A latching device used in a card edge connector for the installation of an auxiliary card such as a memory module card is disclosed. The card edge connector comprises a receptacle body and two latching devices located at two sides of the receptacle body. The latching device comprises: a movable part including an elongated flat plate having a fixed end and a free end, and a latching member located near to the flexible free end for detachably latching the auxiliary card to be inserted and rotated to its installation position; a fixed part comprising an elongated flat plate, an inserting portion extending from the flat plate for inserting into a mounting hole of the receptacle body, and an inserting/rotating stop extending from the flat plate for limiting depth with respect to the auxiliary card being inserted and angle with respect to the auxiliary card being rotated.
