Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) with active and dummy device cell arrays and a method of fabricating the same are discloses. The IC includes a substrate, an active device cell, and a dummy device cell. The active device cell includes an array of source/drain (S/D) regions of a first conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate and an array of gate structures with a first gate fill material disposed on the substrate. The dummy device cell includes a first array of S/D regions of the first conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate, a second array of S/D regions of a second conductivity type disposed on or within the substrate, and an array of dual gate structures disposed on the substrate. Each of the dual gate structures includes the first gate fill material and a second gate fill material that is different from the first gate fill material.

Abstract: A mobile communication device based on a virtual mobile infrastructure is provided, including: a display device for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI); a communication device for providing a network connection to a remote server; a storage device; and a controller for performing an input method switching method including the following operations during performing first application (APP) of remote server: displaying operation screen of first APP on GUI; receiving first notification indicating that remote input keyboard has enabled from remote server; in response, use local input keyboard of local input to cover remote input keyboard to enable a user uses local input method for inputting and to transmit user inputs to remote server to display user inputs on respective remote location; and receiving second notification indicating that remote input keyboard has disabled from remote server and in response, hide local input keyboard on operation screen.

The method of automatically executing operations applied on an electronic device includes: reading an operational log including an operational event, a node identifier, and a record of item layout corresponding to the operational event; receiving information of item layout, which corresponds to the operational frame, from the auxiliary function interface; determining, according to the at least one record of item layout and the information of item layout, whether the record of item layout corresponds to the operational frame; and sending an execution command of operation to the auxiliary function interface for execution of the execution command of operation according to the operational event and the node identifier only when the record of item layout corresponds to the operational frame.

Abstract: A performing method and a tracking method of a graphic user interface and an electronic device using the same are provided. The performing method of the graphical user interface includes the following steps. An application programming interface stored in advance is obtained. The application programming interface is unpacked to obtain a plurality of inputting actions. Each of the inputting actions has a time point. The inputting actions are adjusted according to an operating procedure to be performed, such that a plurality of virtual commands are obtained. The virtual commands are performed according to a sequence of the time points.

Abstract: A memo voice recording/playback method and a digital photo frame using the method are provided. The method is suitable for a digital image playback apparatus. The digital image playback apparatus has memo voice recording function and memo voice playback function and includes a display unit for image displaying. The method includes: displaying an image; judging whether memo voice recording function of the digital image playback apparatus is enabled or not; and executing a memo voice recording procedure to edit the recorded memo voice into a memo voice file associated with the image if it is judged that the memo voice recording function is enabled.

Abstract: A high performance Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system and the operating method thereof. The RFID system includes a reader, a plurality of passive tags, and at least one local reader to communicate with nearby passive tags and further forward results to the reader. A repeater tag or a semi-active tag can serve as a local reader. An operating method of the high performance RFID system, a repeater tag operating method, a semi-active tag electric power detecting method, and an operating method for searching for no electric power tags are further provided.

Abstract: An auxiliary guiding device for the blind includes a guiding brick, a reader, text-to-speech (TTS) component and a power supply unit. The guiding brick is embedded with an electronic tag including a memory chip with a connected first antenna. The reader has a radio frequency transceiver module, a second antenna and a microprocessor, wherein the radio frequency transceiver module emits the energy of a radio wave to the electronic tag through the second antenna for driving the electronic tag to transmit the guidance information from the radio frequency transceiver module and then the microprocessor converts the guiding information to digital data. The TTS component has an input terminal of digital data for converting the digital data transmitted by the microprocessor to analog signals, such that the analog signals drive a voice synthesizer and the input digital data are broadcasted by means of speech.

Abstract: A method of stabilizing parasitic capacitance in an LCD device. Pluralities of transversely expanding gate lines are formed on a substrate. A first insulating layer is formed on the substrate and the gate lines. By performing a photolithography procedure using a photomask, a plurality of longitudinally expanding data lines and a plurality of metallic light shield layers are formed on part of the first insulating layer, wherein the metallic light shield layers are located on both sides of the data line. A second insulating layer is formed on the metallic light shield layers and the data lines. Transparent conductive layers are formed on part of the second insulating layer. Moreover, conductive plugs penetrating the second insulating layer are formed to electrically connect the metallic light shield layers and the transparent conductive layers.
